6:41 p.m. ET: In the first match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026, Roman Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight. Reigns is now 6-0 this year in singles competition and has successfully defended the World Heavyweight title five times since winning it at WrestleMania 42.
From the second Knight and Reigns came out, it had that big-fight feel. When Reigns hits the ring, it feels special every time because of the legacy he has created. Knight stayed confident, getting in Reigns’ face before the bell rang. With both wrestlers being fan favorites, the crowd went wild, cheering both.
Early on, Reigns and Knight traded offense. Knight seemed to gain momentum first in this contest. A few minutes later, Reigns took control again. Both competitors took the action outside the ring, with Reigns beating down Knight. 10 minutes in, the tide changed as Reigns had Knight down and out. Knight fought through the pain, got back up, and evened the odds.
Reigns landed a Superman punch, but it wasn’t enough to keep Knight down. Knight hit Reigns with his signature move, the BFD (Blunt Force Trauma), but Reigns kicked out. 20 minutes into the match, Knight kicked out of Reigns’ spear, shocking the audience. Every time Knight had Reigns hurt and finished, the OTC kept kicking out. Reigns connects with two Superman punches. Then Reigns hits the spear to score the pinfall victory.
6:46 p.m. ET: After the first match, 946 appeared, and The Usos and Solo Sikoa stood behind them, causing a fight to break out. The two groups brawled throughout the arena and later moved outside. Eventually, 946 got in a car and drove away before The Bloodline could get them.
6:52 p.m. ET: Next up is the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match! This contest features Jacy Jayne, Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice.

Everyone went after Lash Legend at the start of the match. Just a minute in, Stratton hit a Swanton Bomb. Stratton hit her head on the ground, but she seemed to be alright. Legend had a clear power advantage over every other competitor in this match, and it was evident throughout.
Although Perez has been on the main roster for some time, this was a breakout moment for her. As expected, the match was fast-paced, with action throughout. Ruca hit Legend with a Frog Splash through a ladder outside the ring. Stratton hit Legend with the briefcase, which led to her winning the match.
7:26 p.m. ET: The next match is a one-on-one contest between Bronson Reed and Oba Femi.

As expected, Reed and Femi went to war from the start. Not many people have been able to hurt Femi, but Reed was. Reed broke Femi down during the first five minutes of this match before Femi worked his way back to his feet. Normally, Reed’s Tsunami works often, but not with Femi.
Less than 10 minutes into the match, Reed’s teammates from The Vision came out, but the referee ejected Logan Paul. With the referee distracted, Maxxine Dupri handed Reed brass knuckles. Even after another Tsunami attempt, Femi kicked out. Afterward, Femi quickly regained momentum and took out Theory and Reed.

Lynch and Vaquer went toe-to-toe after Morgan was taken out early. Morgan returned to the ring and started breaking Lynch and Vaquer down. Vaquer delivered her signature move, The Devil’s Kiss, on Morgan. Vaquer and Lynch briefly teamed up to break Morgan down. When Lynch and Vaquer were distracted, Morgan capitalized and won the match.

9:12 p.m. ET: In the Main Event, Penta won the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match! This match also featured Je’Von Evans, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams, Penta, Bron Breakker, and CM Punk. This was one of the best Money in the Bank matches in a long time.
It wasn’t long before Owens and Punk went toe-to-toe, igniting their bitter rivalry once again. Lil Yatchy helped Williams early in this contest. The physicality and brutality displayed in this match were unbelievable. From the start, Owens was extremely aggressive, mainly targeting Punk throughout.
Less than 10 minutes into the match, Breakker suplexed Punk and Penta. Even with so many veterans in the match, the rising stars, including Williams and Breakker, made an impact. In each match, Breakker displayed his one-of-a-kind athleticism, delivering a shocking moment. “Bron Breakker just broke Je’Von Evans in half…He may have broken every bone in Evans’ body,” Michael Cole said during the match. That properly sums up the brutal spear Breakker hit Evans with. Evans was taken out on a stretcher after this.
Punk and Owens met at the top of the ladder 20 minutes into the match. Both fell to the ground, but Owens got back to the top. Breakker then delivered spears to Punk, Owens, and Penta. Single-handedly, Breakker started taking everyone out himself. The ambulance that took Evans out made its way down to the ring. Evans came out of the ambulance and received a big ovation from the crowd. Breakker put Evans through the roof of the ambulance, creating an insane moment.
