This is the seventh Crown Jewel event and the first taking place in Perth, Western Australia, at the RAC Arena. Also, for the second straight year, two Crown Jewel Championships will be on the line. WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes takes on World Champion Seth Rollins while Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is facing Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
11:25 a.m. ET: Seth Rollins wins the Crown Jewel Championship!
Seth Rollins finally conquered Cody Rhodes for the first time in his career. Rollins hit Rhodes with two curb stomps to beat The American Nightmare and win the Crown Jewel Championship.
Rhodes showed a more fiery side of himself at the beginning of the match. Rollins took the action outside the ring and began to hurt Rhodes. The trash talk started from Rollins as he beat down Rhodes. But the Undisputed Champion showed the heart of a champion as he kept trying to get back to his feet.
Every time Rollins hit Rhodes with his finishers, The American Nightmare kicked out. Rollins became frustrated 20 minutes into the match after failing to defeat Rhodes. Rollins hit Rhodes with a coast-to-coast, giving him the advantage once again.
“This is awesome,” chants rang throughout the arena, and it was well deserved. Rollins and Rhodes put their heart and souls into this match and put on another unbelievable showcase. Rhodes hit Rollins with a Cross Rhodes off the top rope, which was unreal. Rollins hit Rhodes with the Rolex watch that Rhodes had gifted him.
As always, when Rhodes and Rollins go toe-to-toe in a singles match, a banger is guaranteed. They have amazing chemistry and are two of the greatest wrestlers in the sport today.
10:50 a.m. ET: Cody Rhodes gets a warm welcome!
The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes makes his entrance and is attempting to win his second consecutive Crown Jewel Championship.
10:33 a.m. ET: Ripley & Sky defeat The Kabuki Warriors
Rhea Ripley hit Sane with a Riptide, and Iyo Sky followed it up with a moonsault to win the match. This is Ripley and Sky’s second tag team victory together.
Sky started the match by attacking Asuka, her former friend. But Kairi Sana and Asuka responded right back and took the fight to Sky. Ripley was trying to get into the match during the first 10 minutes, but Sky was unable to make it to their team’s corner.
It was worth the wait because when Ripley received the hot tag, the crowd exploded. Ripley entered the match and was a wrecking machine, destroying both Asuka and Sane. The mind games continued from the Kabuki Warriors throughout the match.
The Main Event match is up next between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins for the Crown Jewel Championship.
10:11 a.m. ET: Rhea Ripley’s entrance in her home country of Australia
Rhea Ripley is teaming with Iyo Sky to take on the Kabuki Warriors in a tag team match. Ripley is the second wrestler on Crown Jewel from Adelaide, Australia.
9:56 a.m. ET: John Cena defeats AJ Styles!
In the end, Cena hit Styles with a Tombstone piledriver and an Attitude Adjustment to beat AJ Styles. This is Cena’s 100th victory at a premium live event and joins The Undertaker as the only wrestlers to win 100 matches at PLEs.
This match started slowly, but the pace picked up the longer it went on. It was a chess match since both wrestlers knew each other very well. Styles was getting the best of Cena in the first part of this match with his versatile moveset and his elite athletic ability.
Cena bounced back and hit Styles with his signature five knuckle shuffle and Attitude Judgment, but it wasn’t enough. During this match, Cena hit Styles with a skull-crushing finale and the Walls of Jericho, paying homage to The Miz and Chris Jericho, two of his former opponents.
He followed it up with Sister Abigail, former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt’s finishing move. Cena was emotional after using Wyatt’s move, and the crowd began to fill the arena with lights to honor Wyatt.
Styles responded with a ton of offense of his own. Cena then tapped into his inner Viper and used Randy Orton’s signature moves. This match had so many false finishes. “Fight forever” began to echo throughout the arena in Perth. Each time Cena used one of his former opponents’ moves, Styles kicked out. The fifth and final match between The Phenomenal One and the GOAT lived up to the hyped and more. Cena only has four more dates left in his retirement tour.
9:22 a.m. ET: John Cena vs. AJ Styles is the next match!
For the fifth time in WWE history, John Cena takes on one of his greatest rivals, AJ Styles, for the final time. This is their first match since 2018, and Cena has won the last two matches between the two.
From the second John Cena appeared, the crowd started singing his song and cheering on the 17-time Champion.
9:07 a.m. ET: Stephanie Vaquer wins the Crown Jewel Championship!
Stephanie Vaquer defeats Tiffany Stratton to win the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. This is Stratton’s first loss of 2025.
This was a tactical match from the start. Stratton had the athletic advantage, but Vaquer’s unique style and aggressiveness were the difference.
This was all-action from the start of the match, and although it didn’t last long, it delivered. In the last month, Vaquer has won the Women’s World Championship and the Crown Jewel title. Vaquer is the second Women’s Crown Jewel Champion, following Liv Morgan’s win last year.
8:46 a.m. ET: Tiffany Stratton vs. Stephanie Vaquer is up next!
The Women’s Crown Jewel Championship match is coming up next. The WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton takes on Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer for the Crown Jewel title. This is the first matchup between the two.
8:41 a.m. ET: Bronson Reed defeats Roman Reigns
After a 20-plus-minute grueling match, Bronson Reed picked up the victory over Roman Reigns with the help of Bron Breakker.
When this match began, Reigns and Reed didn’t waste any time before taking the action outside the ring. Reigns first took out a cricket bat to beat down Reed with.
Reed tossed Reigns into the steel steps, shifting the momentum of the match. Although Reed was in his home country of Australia, Reigns was he one getting cheered. The OTC began to build his way back to his feet when he hit Reed with a Samoan Drop through a chair.
It was only a matter of time until Bron Breakker made an appearance, and he came out of nowhere, spearing Reigns. Breakker and Reed then put Reigns through the announcer’s table. The Usos came to Reigns’ aid to even the odds with The Vision. But Breakker speared Jimmy Uso through the barricade. Jey Uso was attempting to hit Reed wth a spear but hit Reigns with it by accident.
As expected, this was a hard-hitting match from start to finish. Reed is the second wrestler to beat Reigns in a singles match since 2019. Seth Rollins beat Reigns at the Royal Rumble in 2022, but the match ended in a disqualification. This is Reigns’ first singles loss since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.
The Bloodline is once again in disarray. After the match, Reigns left his cousins, Jimmy and Jey Uso, in the ring, and then Jey left his brother.
8:14 a.m. ET: Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed opens the show!
The first match of WWE Crown Jewel is Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight. Reigns previously beat Reed at Clash in Paris, but Reed and The Vision took Reigns out of action after the match.
