From 1999 to 2017, WWE hosted 13 No Mercy premium live events; however, in 2023, the company revived this event under the NXT banner. NXT No Mercy is occurring on September 27 at 7:00 p.m. ET in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the FTL War Memorial.
Four Championship matches are taking place at No Mercy, with two additional grudge matches. Oba Femi is defending his NXT Championship in the Main Event of this card against Ricky Saints.

Full Card and Predictions
NXT Championship Match: (C) Oba Femi vs. Ricky Saints
Oba Femi wrestled Trick Williams on Tuesday’s NXT episode for the NXT and TNA Championships, but the match abruptly ended when the TNA roster interrupted the show. Since Ricky Saints entered WWE, it seemed like it would only be a matter of time until he challenged for the NXT Championship. Saints held the North American title, but shortly after, went on a mission to get an opportunity against Femi.
Although I believe bright things are in the Saints‘ future, I don’t think he’s the one to defeat Femi, who has held the title for over 260 days. Femi is the longest-reigning NXT Champion since Bron Breakker held the title for 362 days, from April 2022 to April 2023. Since their match ended prematurely on Tuesday, don’t be surprised if Trick Williams interferes in this one as well.
Prediction: Oba Femi retains the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints.
NXT Women’s Championship Match: (C) Jacy Jayne vs. Lola Vice
Even though it was a surprise when Jacy Jayne beat Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship, she has proven to be a good champion. Jayne has now held the title for over 120 days, which is longer than Vaquer and Giulia’s reigns.
In NXT, Jayne and Vice have had two singles matches, with Vice winning each one. Vice beat Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan to earn this title opportunity at NXT Heatwave in August. Since winning the NXT title, Jayne has successfully defended it three times, but hasn’t put it on the line since TNA Slammiversary in July. Vice has had a nice run lately, but it doesn’t seem like she is ready to become champion yet.
Prediction: Jacy Jayne retains her NXT Women’s Championship against Lola Vice.
NXT North American Championship Match: (C) Ethan Page vs. Tavion Heights
Ethan Page is currently in his first reign as NXT North American Champion and is defending it for the first time since July. Since August, Page has had a rivalry with Tavion Heights, and their feud adds another chapter on Saturday. Page teamed with Chelsea Green en route to a victory against Heights and Tyra Mae Steele. But Heights got revenge and defeated Page in a flag match a few weeks ago.
Heights has grown a ton in the last few months and has a bright future, but Page has won in three of his last four PLEs. With Page’s wealth of experience, he is always a candidate to make a move to Raw or SmackDown, but as long as he’s on NXT, there aren’t many better big match wrestlers than him.
Prediction: Ethan Page defeats Tavion Heights to retain his North American Championship.
WWE Women’s Speed Championship: (C) Sol Ruca vs. Lainey Reid
Sol Ruca has held the Speed Championship since April, but has only defended the title twice. Ruca’s next challenger is Lainey Reid, who has been featured more often recently on NXT television. However, Ruca still has a significant advantage in experience and should be able to secure the victory against Reid.
Prediction: Sol Ruca defeats Lainey Reid to retain the Speed title.
Weaponized Steel Cage Match: Jordynne Grace vs. Blake Monroe
Blake Monroe joined NXT and befriended Jordynne Grace, but that didn’t last long. Now the two are in the midst of a heated rivalry, culminating in a Weaponized Steel Cage Match at No Mercy. Monroe beat Grace in their long singles match at Heatwave. Grace’s strength and power advantages should give her an edge in a steel cage match.
Prediction: Jordynne Grace defeats Blake Monroe.
Singles Match: Je’Von Evans vs. Josh Briggs
Josh Briggs beat Je’Von Evans on September 9, and now the “Young OG” will look to get his revenge at No Mercy. Evans has lost two straight one-on-one matches, with his last victory in singles competition coming on July 29. If Evans wants to make another push for an NXT title shot, a win against Briggs is needed.
