From the second CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series in November 2023, he has had one long-term rival, Seth Rollins. The rivalry was put on pause after Punk suffered an injury at the Royal Rumble, but since the Monday Night Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6, the two have had an ongoing heated feud.
Rollins has a 5-1 record (not including the Royal Rumble) against Punk in the past two years. The rivalry seemed even, but it has heavily shifted in Rollins’ favor since he formed The Vision. Rollins has been one step ahead of Punk and has outsmarted him in every big match recently.
But Becky Lynch came to save Rollins at Clash in Paris, and later put her hands on Punk multiple times. This led to Punk bringing his wife, AJ Lee, a former two-time Divas Champion, out of retirement to take on Rollins and Lynch.
