This is the WWE’s second premium live event in France in the past 15 months. WWE Clash in Paris is occurring in Paris, France, at the Paris La Défense Arena.
5:51 p.m. ET: Seth Rollins retains his Championship!
At the end of the match, Rollins went to curbstomp Punk with a chair, but Punk countered. Punk was about to hit Rollins with a GTS, but Becky Lynch appeared and hit Punk with a low blow. Rollins defeated Punk, Knight, and Uso to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Heading into this match, Seth Rollins didn’t have the vision by his side. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were banned from the arena, and Paul Heyman is in the hospital. But Rollins said he is always two steps ahead of everyone.
Rollins said multiple times during the match, “I don’t need anybody”. That statement refers to everyone saying he previously needed the help of his vision to win matches. Early in the match, Punk, Knight, and Uso teamed up to beat down Rollins. Uso then turned on Punk and Knight shortly after. The action moved throughout the arena.
With a fatal four match, it is bound for a plethora of false finishes, and this one delivered them. Each member of this match had big moments. From the top rope, Knight attempted to hit Rollins on the announce table, but the champion got out of the way.
Even more than usual, the crowd was heavily behind Knight, Punk, and Uso. This contest delivered everything you could want in a main event championship match.
5:05 p.m. ET: Attendance for Clash in Paris revealed!
Before the Main Event match, it was announced that the attendance for Clash in Paris was 30,343 fans for today’s premium live event.
4:59 p.m. ET: John Cena defeats Logan Paul
After a grueling 25-plus-minute match, John Cena beat Logan Paul. This was an incredible match between 17-time Champion Cena and rising star Paul. Before the match started, the WWE Universe gave John Cena an incredibly warm welcome, whereas Logan Paul received the opposite.
Even though Paul has limited experience in a WWE ring, he looked comfortable in there with Cena. This was a perfect matchup between a beloved bayface, Cena, and a hated heel in Paul. During this contest, Paul embraced the boos from the Paris crowd.
Each time Paul is in a match, he displays new moves and an improved overall skill set. Paul was on fire to start the match, but then Cena took control. With a bloodied face, Paul mocked Cena and used his signature moves against him. Fans began chanting “this is awesome” during this contest.
Both competitors hit each other with their finishers, but no one could do enough to get the three-count. That was until Cena landed two Attitude Adjustments on Paul. Even though Paul came up short against Cena, this was one of his greatest matches in his young WWE career.
The Main Event is the next match, which is a fatal four-way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins is defending his title against LA Knight, CM Punk, and Jey Uso.
4:22 p.m. ET: John Cena vs. Logan Paul is up next
In the next contest, 17-time WWE Champion John Cena goes toe-to-toe with Logan Paul in a singles match. This is Paul’s 10th singles match at a premium live event. Cena is 3-1 in one-on-one matches in 2025 and is looking to bounce back after losing his title to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
4:17 p.m. ET: Rusev defeats Sheamus in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match
In the end, Rusev submitted Sheamus with his signature move, the accolade, while the Shillelagh was around Sheamus’ mouth. Rusev moves to 4-1 against Sheamus in singles competition.
As expected, from the second the bell rang, Sheamus and Rusev began brawling, including action outside the ring. The crowd loved this hard-hitting battle. Sheamus and Rusev have had plenty of exciting battles in the past, but none greater than this one.
Sheamus seemed to be getting the better of Rusev early in the match. But as much pain as Sheamus asserted, Rusev wouldn’t stay down. The crowd was heavily behind Sheamus in this contest.
Rusev slammed Sheamus through the wooden bar outside the ring, but it wouldn’t neutralize him for long. Sheamus hit Rusev with White Noise off the barrells and through two tables. But Rusev quickly got back to his feet.
3:41 p.m. ET: Becky Lynch defeats Nikki Bella to retain her IC title
Lynch has successfully defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the fifth time since winning it at Money in the Bank in June.
Nikki Bella had a quick start, but Becky Lynch weathered the early storm and took over. This has been a heated rivalry over the last few weeks, and it translated to the ring. Bella brought out a more aggressive side of herself in this match, trying to hurt Lynch at every chance she got.
This was Bella’s second singles match since returning to action last month, and she had a good showing. This was also her first match on a premium live event since facing Ronda Rousey at Evolution 2018.
The next contest features a showdown between Sheamus and Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match.
3:18 p.m. ET: The Wyatt Sicks retain their titles
From the start of the match, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford were not entirely on the same page. Although they haven’t been teaming for long, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis from the Wyatt Sicks have excellent continuity. After a slow start, The Street Profits got back on track and got a ton of offense in.
After Uncle Howdy hit Montez Ford with a sister abigail outside the ring, The Wyatt Sicks retained their titles. This was their second successful title defense, and they have held the championship for 51 days.
Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Bella for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is the next match.
2:59 p.m. ET: The WWE Tag Team Championship Match is up next!
The Wyatt Sicks are defending their WWE Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits in the next match. This is the Wyatt Sicks’ second title defense.
2:46 p.m. ET: Bron Breakker attacks Roman Reigns after the match
During Reigns’ celebration after defeating Reed, Bron Breakker appeared and speared Reigns through a table. Breakker and Reigns started to leave the arena, but then Breakker ran down the ramp, spearing Reigns again. Finally, Reed hit the former champion with a tsunami.
2:40 p.m. ET: Roman Reigns defeats Bronson Reed
Roman Reigns picked up the victory against Bronson Reed in the opening contest of Clash in Paris. This was Reigns’ first singles win since January 6 and first at a premium live event since Crown Jewel 2023. Reigns put Paul Heyman in a guillotine choke after the match.
Roman Reigns began this match on offense, taking the fight to Bronson Reed, and the fans were loving every second of it. Reed had the clear power advantage in this contest from the beginning. After confronting Reigns, Reed took the action outside the ring. Reigns struggled to keep Reed down as he kept bouncing back.
In this match, Reigns was in a unique position as the smaller guy. Reigns typically dominates his opponents with his strength and power, but in this match, he was working as the underdog in terms of size.
Each time Reigns would fight his way back, Reed would put him right back down. Reed tried to take Reigns’ wrestling boots off, but the former champion didn’t allow him to do so. Reigns has plenty of big-match experience, and it came in handy in this contest.
Reigns hit Reed with a Superman punch, a Samoan drop off the top rope, and finally a spear to win the match. This was an excellent first match at Clash in Pairs. It provided many false finishes, with each competitor putting on a great showing.
2:15 p.m. ET: Roman Reigns makes his entrance at Clash in Paris
Before he made his entrance, the crowd began singing, “Roman, Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns,” and then chanted “OTC”. When Roman Reigns entered the arena, the crowd continued, delivering an unbelievable moment.
2:04 p.m. ET: Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed is opening the show!
From the moment this premium live event began, the crowd in Paris started chanting and provided a tremendous amount of energy. The former Undisputed WWE Champion, Roman Reigns, looks to settle the score with Bronson Reed in the first match of WWE Clash in Paris.
