The Nuggets are fighting for their lives at home in Game 6 against the Thunder. Here are the best player props to consider for Nikola Jokic on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Nuggets are 4.5-point underdogs against the Thunder, with an o/u of 217.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest lines for Jokic on DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 28.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers.

The Denver Nuggets pulled off a huge Game 3 win in Denver to take an important 2-1 series lead over the Thunder in the Western Conference Semifinals. However, they have lost back-to-back tight games and are now down 3-2 and on the brink of elimination. Game 6 is being held in Denver, so the Nuggets will have their home crowd willing them to force a massive Game 7. The Nuggets are a team with title-winning experience, compared to this Thunder group, most of whom have never made a Conference Finals. That could be the difference in the key moments of Game 6, and potentially Game 7. However, there is no bigger storyline than the two MVP frontrunners, Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, going head-to-head in this series.

Nikola Jokic is having another season that proves he is the best basketball player on the planet. So far this postseason, he has had a couple of blips, but largely he has dominated once again. He had a mind-blowing 42 points and 22 rebounds in the Game 1 win over the Thunder. In Game 5, he had another incredible effort, going for 44 points and 15 rebounds. However, he was a one-man show for most of that game, and that is why the Thunder ultimately came out on top. It will take another masterful performance from Jokic, along with more help from his supporting cast, to take down this great Thunder team. With the best player in the world, the home crowd in Denver and the big edge in playoff experience over Oklahoma City, it seems like this series is destined to head back to Oklahoma City for a Game 7.

My favorite prop for this game is for Nikola Jokic to record a triple-double. Jokic is third in NBA history in career triple-doubles, behind only his teammate Russell Westbrook and Oscar Robertson. He also had the most triple-doubles of his career this season with 34, the fourth-most in a single season in NBA history, and ended up averaging a triple-double in the regular season. Jokic had three triple-doubles in the opening round series against the Clippers, but has yet to register one against the Thunder. The thing holding him back is the assists. He is averaging 30 points and 14.8 rebounds per game this series, so those numbers are not an issue. He is averaging just 5.2 assists this series, well below his average against the Clippers and his regular-season average. In this elimination game, the Thunder will likely try to take Jokic out of the game and make others beat them. That should lead to Jokic being more of a distributor and racking up assists. The Thunder will double him in the post and he should be able to find open shooters and get double-digit assists. He will still get his 20-25 points even if they do this, as he always does. At odds of +205, it’s hard not to take a chance on Jokic recording a triple-double in this elimination game.

Best Bet: Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double (+205)
