WWE WrestleMania 41 Sunday: Full card, predictions, how to watch

Published:

By: Ryan Wohl

After many great moments at WrestleMania Saturday, the action continues tonight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, defends his Undisputed Championship against John Cena in the Main Event of Sunday’s WrestleMania 41 card.

The main story at last year’s WrestleMania was “Will Cody Rhodes Finish The Story”? Rhodes achieved his dream by defeating Roman Reigns, becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion for the first time in his career. Since John Cena announced his retirement tour, everyone has wondered if he will win his 17th and record-breaking WWE championship.

The last time Cena wrestled for a WWE Championship was in this same venue, Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in 2021. Cena came up short that night, but now he’s in a do-or-die situation. Because if Cena loses another title match, it is unlikely he will receive another chance at gold before his active in-ring career ends at the end of 2025.

A big match expected to be on this card was Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens. But after Owens suffered an injury and was forced to miss WrestleMania, Orton was left without an opponent. Orton has said he will wrestle anyone on Sunday night, but who will it be? It seems like a match between Orton and SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis is the match to make.

How to Watch

This premium live event starts at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be available on Peacock. The countdown show will begin at 4:00 p.m. ET on WWE’s YouTube Channel and Peacock.

Full Card and Predictions

WWE Undisputed Universal Championship

(C) Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

This match is phenomenal and has the potential to be one of the most significant matches in WrestleMania history. Rhodes has transcended into a massive star since winning the Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024. He hasn’t been a transitional champion and has held the title for over one year.

Rhodes can significantly benefit from being in the ring with a legend like Cena. But this is the perfect moment for Cena to win his 17th Championship. Even though he is a bad guy right now and the fans hate him, they would embrace him if he wins the title. This is Cena’s final match at WrestleMania as he will officially retire at the end of 2025.

Prediction: Cena wins his record-breaking 17th Championship with the help of The Final Boss.

WWE Women’s World Championship

(C) Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley

Over the last few weeks, this feud has escalated. Even though Sky is the current champion, she seems like the odd one out in this storyline. Belair played a big part in Ripley losing her title a few months ago. This has infuriated Ripley and has brought out a new side of the former champion.

Rhea Ripley is the current face of women’s wrestling, and although she lost her title a few months ago to Iyo Sky, this is a perfect spot for her to reclaim her championship.

Prediction: Ripley wins and becomes the World Champion again.

WWE Intercontinental Championship

(C) Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio

This is the first fatal four-way for the Intercontinental Championship in WrestleMania history. I believe that this is when Finn Balor reaches a breaking point and turns on Dominick Mysterio. Bron Breakker has been on a great run as the Intercontinental Champion.

Penta has been on fire since joining the WWE roster. Although he’s only been in the WWE for a few months, it would be a good decision to strike while Penta is very hot.

Prediction: Penta pins Dominik Mysterio to become IC Champion.

Men’s Singles Match

AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

This match is a potential show-stealer. AJ Styles is a future Hall of Famer with one of the most well-versed skill sets in the WWE. Even though Paul doesn’t wrestle many matches, new and memorable moments are created every time he enters the ring. A win over Styles could propel Paul into the World Heavyweight title picture.

Prediction: Logan Paul beats AJ Styles.

Sin City Street Fight

Drew McIntyre vs. Damien Priest

McIntyre and Priest have had plenty of history over the last year, and it all comes down to a street fight at WrestleMania. This should be a high-level, hard-hitting match between two of the best big men in the WWE. Even though McIntyre has been a heel, a big win at WrestleMania is needed after what happened last year.

McIntyre won the Championship at WrestleMania 40, but his reign was short-lived after Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on him. McIntyre has been one of WWE’s biggest superstars in the last year, and a win could earn him a title opportunity in the future.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre defeats Damien Priest.

Women’s Tag Team Championship

(C) Judgement Day vs. Lyra Valkyria and mystery partner

Lyra Valkyria was initially supposed to team with Bayley to take on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This match is for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Even though Valkyria‘s partner is unknown right now, Morgan and Rodriguez’s title reign seems to be just getting started.

Prediction: Judgement Day picks up the victory.
