After a rough start to the season, the Indiana Pacers are starting to turn it around. Indiana has won each of its last four games, improving to 20-18, good for seventh in the Eastern Conference. Despite point guard Tyrese Haliburton’s inconsistency all season, the Pacers have finally found the form that earned them a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2023-24.
Haliburton is questionable for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, and if he can’t play, a greater offensive load might fall to power forward Pascal Siakam. The long-time Toronto Raptor has seen a small dip in his scoring but a small increase in his efficiency this season, averaging 21.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game while shooting a career-best 42.4% from beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, the slumping Warriors are suffering from a litany of injuries and will start a lineup full of inexperienced players. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Andrew Wiggins are all among the players who will sit for Golden State.

Pascal Siakam to Record a Double-Double (+250)
The Warriors are a pretty undersized team, as the tallest player in their regular rotation is six-foot-nine Trayce Jackson-Davis. Golden State has been decent on the boards regardless, with the 10th-best rebounding percentage in the league, mostly as a function of scrappiness. Several Warriors players rank near the tops of various hustle leaderboards, and Green and Curry are pretty good rebounders for their size. But with Curry and Green out, as well as Kuminga, who’s averaging a career-high 5.0 rebounds per game, I’m skeptical that the Warriors will be able to control the glass tonight.
Siakam hasn’t been quite as prolific on the boards this year as he was during the 2021-22 season, when he recorded a double-double in nearly half his starts. That said, he’s recorded double-digit rebounds in seven of his 38 games this year, with six double-doubles. His most recent double-double came on January 2, when he pulled down 11 rebounds to go along with 18 points in a win over the Miami Heat. Center Myles Turner, who missed the Pacers’ most recent game against the Chicago Bulls, is also questionable tonight with an illness.
