Fight week is here! “Iron” Mike Tyson will face Jake “The Problem Child” Paul at AT&T Stadium on November 15. This event will air live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET. The full card will be available to all Netflix subscribers and isn’t on traditional PPV.
Tyson hasn’t had a professional fight since he lost to Kevin McBride in 2005. He ended his professional career on a two-fight losing streak. Tyson’s last pro win came against Clifford Etienne in February 2003. Tyson is 50-6 in his professional boxing career with 44 knockouts.
Although Tyson hasn’t had a sanctioned bout in 19 years, he has had two exhibition fights since then. He fought Corey Sanders in 2006 and Roy Jones Jr. more recently in 2020. The fight against Jones Jr. lasted all eight scheduled rounds and ended in a draw. Tyson is a former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion and the youngest one in history. He was the champion from 1987 to 1990.
Tyson will face Paul on Friday night. Paul is 11-1 in his young boxing career. He recently knocked out former UFC fighter and BKFC King of Violence Champion Mike Perry. Tyson, 58, has a 31-year age difference against Paul, who is 27. Paul is on a four-fight win streak after losing against Tommy Fury in February 2023 for the first time.
