College basketball officially gets underway on Monday, and the main event is a double-header in Las Vegas. Florida and Arizona get things going at T-Mobile Arena in the early game, and then Villanova and BYU tipoff for the nightcap. Here’s a college basketball pick for Monday’s game between Villanova and BYU. Villanova vs. BYU (9:30 […]

We have a PAC-2 rivalry game on Saturday night, and I’m scratching my head trying to figure this one out. Over the years, backing Oregon State at home in Corvallis on Saturday nights has been a spot I like to back, but this Beavers team has had just a dreadful season. Oregon State got it’s […]

Georgia and Florida will meet once again in Jacksonville in what has become known as the World’s Largest Cocktail Party. Both teams come off the bye for this one, with the major unknown coming on the Florida side. The Gators finally cut ties with Billy Napier, following a win over Mississippi State in Week 8. […]

This was supposed to be one of, if not the game of the year in college football. Will this be the year Penn State finally beats Ohio State? That was the question we were asking ourselves, as recently as September. DraftKings Sportsbook opened a preseason line of Ohio State -4.5 in this game, and the […]

It’s been a slow start to the season for Isaiah Pacheco, who ran for 45 yards or fewer in each of Kansas City’s first five games. But as the Chiefs have gotten rolling, so has Pacheco, who has set a season-high in carries and rushing yards in each of the last two weeks. The rise […]

San Antonio Spurs at New Orleans Pelicans Victor Wembanyama was absolutely spectacular in his season debut against the Mavericks, going for 40 points and 15 rebounds. Wemby also posted three blocks and shot over 71% from the field, and did all this damage in just 30 minutes of what turned into a blowout. It’s clearly […]

Boston Celtics at New York Knicks The Celtics unleashed Derrick White in three preseason games, showing what many of us expected to see — a massive role with Jayson Tatum sidelined. White averaged 21.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists in just 28 minutes in those three games. I bet the over on his 31.5 […]

I’ve been fading BYU week after week, and obviously, it hasn’t been going great. But hey, let’s do it again … the Cyclones might just be my favorite play of the week. Without even getting into the matchup between BYU and ISU on the field, the spot alone sets up as about as strong of […]

I’m not exactly the biggest Sparty fan this season, but if we’re talking more than two touchdowns for a home underdog facing the Wolverines, then you have my attention. Michigan has played three road games so far this season, going 1-2 SU/ATS. I couldn’t back Nebraska in a game that the Cornhuskers shifted from dogs […]

Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors The Raptors started their season with a convincing win by 20 points as road underdogs in Atlanta. Toronto looked very balanced, with seven players scoring double-digits in the win. The Raptors return home to face the Bucks, who also won their season opener, but against a Wizards team that projects […]

Jordan Mason got off to a strong start to the season, carrying 15 times for 68 yards against the Bears when he was still splitting time with Aaron Jones. Jones got injured the following week, and Mason broke out in the next game against the Bengals, finishing with a 16-116-2 line. In three games since, […]
