Arguably the biggest winner of the blockbuster trade that sent Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers prior to the trade deadline wasn’t the Lakers, or the Dallas Mavericks, or even Dončić himself. Instead, it was the greatest 40-year-old in NBA history, James — who has averaged 25.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per […]

Kristaps Porzingis mystified the NBA in his first couple of seasons as a seven-foot-two sniper who could stretch the floor, finish at the rim, and protect the paint. Now, Porzingis has evolved, conceptually speaking, to Victor Wembanyama, a man who can do all the same things as prime Porzingis could, but better. His San Antonio […]

The City of Angels is officially to be feared in basketball once again. As the NBA ramps up towards All-Star Weekend, February 11 offers a modest four-game slate of hoops action, but there are still plenty of decent matchups, including a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference semifinals. No teams are on the second night of a back-to-back, so the injury reports should be pretty clean, but all […]

But first, there are three days of action-packed regular season hoops before the league’s brightest stars head to the Bay Area. With a four-game featured slate at DraftKings […]
