Despite a last-second loss to the Grizzlies on Thursday, the Heat have been among the hottest teams in the NBA across the past two weeks. Tyler Herro has been a massive part of the success, averaging 30.6 points per game over his last five starts. Needless to say, if Herro can not play through a questionable tag on Saturday, Miami might be in trouble.
Since the trade deadline, when Jimmy Butler was shipped to Golden State, Herro leads the Heat with a 28.6% usage rate and 1.15 FPTS produced per minute. That usage rate jumps to 30.6% when Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is off the floor, which is relevant, as the veteran wing will miss his fifth straight contest against Milwaukee.
If Herro were to join Wiggins on the sideline, Bam Adebayo would become Miami’s No. 1 scoring option on Saturday. In terms of DFS value options, Davion Mitchell, Terry Rozier and Pelle Larsson would be assets to keep an eye on. In Thursday’s loss to Memphis, Mitchell logged 37.0 minutes off the bench, trailing only Herro among Heat players.
