Garion is a Toronto-based writer who has been playing fantasy sports since elementary school. With a particular affinity for advanced statistics and sabermetrics, he’s been covering DFS Baseball, Football and Basketball for DraftKings dating back to 2018. Prior to that, Garion’s work could be found at FNTSY, SportsGrid, HoopsHype, The New York Daily News and Sportsnet.ca. Still, he is a Dolphins fan, so his decision-making can be questioned from time-to-time.
Less than 72 hours ago, the Royals had an opportunity to climb into first place in the AL Central. Now, the team is reeling at the loss of their fantastic first baseman. After leaving Thursday’s loss to the Astros following a collision at the bag, Pasquantino went for X-rays on his injured thumb. The results […]

Forgive me for saying this, but I had zero intention of using Jack Kochanowicz ($5,500; 21.9 FPTS) in a fantasy lineup at any point in 2024. However, those who did trust the rookie RHP on Thursday afternoon’s DraftKings slate were heavily rewarded in Los Angeles’ 3-0 victory over Detroit. Kochanowicz was spectacular. The 23-year-old tossed […]

There’s baseball on all afternoon on this fine Thursday, but this article will be focusing on this evening’s four-game slate that kicks off with the Braves and Phillies at 6:40 p.m. ET. Don’t like it? Well… I apologize. I’m truly sorry you feel that way and I hope I didn’t let you down. Let’s dive […]

Not a lot has gone right for the Rockies this season, but the emergence of Brenton Doyle ($5,900) is certainly a bright spot. Now, after missing the team’s past two games due to left patella tendinitis, Doyle will return to the lineup for this evening’s tilt against the Marlins and Max Meyer ($6,000). Doyle is […]

We’re entering the homestretch of the MLB regular season and while it might seem like most of the playoff spots are wrapped up, there’s still a couple huge games on Tuesday night. Initially scheduled to start Friday’s contest against the Pirates, Andrew Abbott has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a left shoulder strain. Alan Busenitz was called up from Triple-A to fill Abbott’s roster spot, while Buck Farmer will now open versus Pittsburgh. Abbott is in the midst of a solid season for […]

Who do the Pirates think they are? Because from where I’m sitting, Pittsburgh’s 6:40 p.m. ET start time this evening is the only thing keeping us from a rare 15-game MLB featured slate. It’s okay. I didn’t want to write about Bailey Falter, anyway. Let’s focus on the 14 contests we do have and find […]

The Mariners have parted ways with manager Scott Servais on Thursday. Dan Wilson will be the interim manager. Seattle does not play this evening, but it will start a series with the Giants on Friday. Servais has been one of MLB’s longest tenured managers. 2024 marked Servais’ ninth in Seattle, where he has accumulated a […]
