Rome Odunze is starting to come on strong for the Bears as well. For this pick to hit, Odunze needs just three catches against the Buccaneers. Odunze has hit that mark in seven straight games. Two weeks ago, Odunze had four catches for 69 yards against the Patriots. Last week, he had four catches for 87 yards against the Seahawks. He has performed well in back-to-back primetime games and should make it three straight strong primetime performances this week. Tampa Bay has a tough defense, but the Bears rank ninth in offensive EPA/dropback and sixth in offensive dropback success rate. They have scored 30+ points in three straight games, despite playing some tough defenses. They should be up to the task and move the ball in this game as well.
Bucky Irving More Than 64.5 Rushing Yards
Bucky Irving has been unstoppable the past couple of weeks. Tampa Bay famously did not complete a pass in last week’s win over the Falcons. All of the offense came from Irving, who rushed for 170 yards and a score. In the game before that, Irving rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers. Tampa Bay will probably need to complete a pass or two to compete with the Bears. However, they should still lean on the running game. The best way to beat the Bears is to keep the ball away from Caleb Williams as long as possible. The best way to do that is by moving the ball on the ground. Irving is averaging 22.8 carries per game over his past four games and should get another big workload in Chicago.
