Raiders vs. 49ers NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 9

Since the Raiders moved to Las Vegas, this matchup has lost a lot of its fire. It was once must-see TV to watch the 49ers and the Raiders travel across the San Francisco Bay to square off. But the fans still have a healthy animosity, and with significant playoff stakes on the line, this one has some extra juice. With so much offensive firepower, the player prop market is awfully compelling.

San Francisco is a 9.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Las Vegas is +380 to pull off the upset, with the total set at 51.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the Raiders and the 49ers.

Raiders vs. 49ers NFL Player Prop Bets

Kaelon Black 50+ Rushing Yards (+141)

After years of trying, John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan have drafted a solid running back in the first few rounds. Kaelon Black, the top tailback for the 2025 NCAA champion Indiana Hoosiers, fits their running scheme perfectly. He makes the most of his blocks, plays physically, and has made for an excellent complement to Christian McCaffrey.

That has been critical for the 49ers as they attempt to limit McCaffrey’s workload. After shouldering the most touches in the NFL last year, his explosion has been limited this year, and they don’t want to risk injury before the playoffs. In a matchup like this against a leaky Raiders defense, Shanahan and the Niners should jump at the chance to defer some of McCaffrey’s touches to Black, and he can surely produce in this favorable matchup.

Christian McCaffrey 2+ Touchdowns (+170)

If the 49ers can use Kaelon Black in the 20s to preserve McCaffrey, he’ll have more chances to contribute in the red zone. And few backs are more elite in the red zone than CMC.

McCaffrey has scored a touchdown in six straight games, including two multi-score efforts against the Commanders and the Dolphins. He has performed extremely well in the red zone, and nobody is more trusted in goal-to-go situations. McCaffrey also gets a boost for big plays; he hasn’t broken many this year, but the Raiders have allowed a stunning 5.1 yards per carry, the worst mark in the league. If there’s a time for him to break one loose, it’s here.

Brock Purdy 250+ Passing Yards + 2+ Passing Touchdowns SGP (+120)

Why not go for the Niners trifecta here? Las Vegas’ run defense may be awful, but their passing coverage is just as bad. They’re allowing 7.9 yards per pass attempt — fifth-worst in the NFL — while giving up 18 total passing touchdowns. This season, Purdy has 250+ passing yards in four of seven games and multiple passing scores in five. San Francisco’s offense tends to snowball; if the run game gets going, Purdy heats up quickly, and the offense becomes unstoppable.
