Ole Miss Rebels vs. Georgia Bulldogs prediction, pick for College Football on 11/7/26

The Ole Miss Rebels host the Georgia Bulldogs in a rematch of the 2025-26 College Football Playoff matchup that the Rebels won. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Rebels are listed as 3.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at O/U 56.5 points. Below is my full preview, prediction and best bet for this Week 10 matchup.

Ole Miss vs. Georgia Prediction, Preview

Georgia Preview

Georgia has been one of the best teams in the country all season. Other than an inexplicable home loss to Auburn, they have arguably been the most complete team in the nation week in and week out. The Bulldogs have a great road win over Alabama on their resume, but this will be their hardest test since that game. The Georgia defense is easily one of the best in the country. They are allowing just 14.5 points per game, the 11th-best mark in the country. The Georgia defense also ranks ninth-best nationally in yards per game allowed, and has been particularly dominant against the run. The bigger question mark for Georgia has been on offense, where the run game hasn’t been quite as dominant as in past years, and Gunner Stockton has been inconsistent.

Ole Miss Preview

This Ole Miss team looks a lot like last year’s team that beat Georgia in the College Football Playoff and nearly made the national title game. The defense is talented, but can be exploited in the secondary. Meanwhile, Trinidad Chambliss is still one of the best quarterbacks in the country. The Rebels rank ninth in the nation in adj. offensive EPA/play. Chambliss self-admittedly did not play well in the Rebels’ loss against Texas. However, he bounced back strongly against Auburn and is claiming to be completely refocused. With Chambliss under center, Ole Miss can beat anyone in the country. However, he needs more support from his run game, and defense is Ole Miss is going to make another playoff push this season.

Ole Miss vs. Georgia Pick, Best Bet

My best bet is on Ole Miss +3.5. As good as Georgia has been, there are still question marks around them. There seems to be no truly elite team this year. The Georgia defense has been dominant in terms of limiting yards and points, but in the advanced metrics, they actually have not been as elite. Georgia ranks just 31st in defensive EPA/play and 32nd in defensive EPA/drive.

Georgia’s first three SEC games came against arguably the three worst offenses in the conference – Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma. They also got to play Florida while the Gators were in the midst of a quarterback crisis. The two best quarterbacks the Bulldogs have faced this season are Byrum Brown and Keelon Russell. While they limited Brown through the air, he willed Auburn to a win with his legs. To Georgia’s credit, they did a great job of limiting Keelon Russell in that matchup against Alabama.

However, the larger point is that Georgia’s defense is not actually that battle-tested. Trinidad Chambliss will be the best quarterback they have faced this season, and he will be in the comfort of his home stadium in Oxford. Chambliss should be able to hang a decent number in this game and force Gunner Stockton to keep up. While the Ole Miss defense can be vulnerable at times, Stockton has made far too many mistakes this season. I’ll back the far superior quarterback at home, catching over a field goal.

Best Bet: Ole Miss +3.5 (-108)
