With three seconds left in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley looked to have suffered an injury. After taking a carry from a shotgun formation and running to the left side of the formation, Barkley was tackled for no gain and gingerly got up with the help from a few teammates.
While Barkley did not head to the medical tent or locker room, he was not a participant in the remainder of the drive when the fourth quarter started. After a Commanders drive, Barkley remained on the sideline with Elijah Mitchell handling the running back duties.
Prior to exiting, Barkley rushed 13 times for 30 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for 24 yards.
