Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears DraftKings Pick6 Picks for MNF

The Week 8 Monday Night Football matchup pits the Chicago Bears against the Seattle Seahawks. One of the best ways to get in on the game is by playing DraftKings Pick6.

Here are my top Pick6 plays for the Week 8 Monday Night Football matchup.

Seahawks vs. Bears DraftKings Pick6 Picks for Monday Night Football

Jaxon Smith-Njigba More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving Touchdowns

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in the midst of another amazing campaign after winning NFL Offensive Player of the Year last season. Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns through seven weeks. He has at least 100 receiving yards in six of his seven games this season and has scored a touchdown in five of seven. Sam Darnold has been force-feeding his favorite target all season. Smith-Njigba has at least 11 targets in five of his seven games. He even had two carries last week against the Chiefs, with Seattle trying to get him the ball by any means possible.

Smith-Njigba should be in for another big game this week against the Bears. While the Bears’ defense has performed well so far this season, it seems like the opponent doesn’t matter for the reigning NFL OPOY. He has 21 catches for 284 yards over the past two weeks despite facing the Chiefs and Broncos, two of the best pass defenses in the NFL. The Bears have given up a lot of deep balls this season. They rank 21st in 20+-yard catches allowed and 32nd in 40+-yard catches allowed. Smith-Njigba should be able to beat them with at least one deep route for a score.

Sam Darnold More Than 0.5 Interceptions

Sam Darnold proved last season that he can be the guy when everything around him is working perfectly. Darnold has had turnover problems throughout his entire NFL career, but played great last season. He had a strong running game, the league’s best receiver and a defense that made it so the Seahawks were almost never trailing by a big deficit. However, this season has been different for Darnold. The Seattle run game has been virtually nonexistent without Kenneth Walker III, and Darnold has not gotten any rhythm going with any receiver besides Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Darnold has been forced to push the ball downfield this season, which has renewed his turnover problems. He has an 8-8 TD-INT ratio, tied for the most interceptions thrown in the NFL this season. He has thrown at least one pick in every game that he has played in full this season. The Bears have done a good job of forcing turnovers this season, ranking seventh in takeaways. The Bears’ offense should score enough to force Darnold to be aggressive, which should lead to him throwing an interception for the sixth straight game.

Luther Burden III Longest Reception More Than 19.5 Yards

Luther Burden is having a great season for the Bears. Burden showed some flashes last year in his rookie season, but didn’t have the consistency week in and week out. This season, Burden leads the Bears in receiving and looks like Chicago’s clear WR1. He has over 100 more yards than Rome Odunze, the Bears’ second-leading receiver. Burden is red hot coming into this game as well. He has combined for 225 receiving yards over his past two games.

Luther Burden should keep the momentum going this week. The best way to target Burden in this matchup is with his longest reception number. Against an elite Seattle defense, it might be tough for Burden to replicate the huge numbers he has put up over the past two weeks. However, he should be able to break at least one long play of 20 yards or more. Burden has a catch of 20 yards or more in six of his seven games this season. He should hit that mark for the sixth straight game in this Monday Night Football matchup.
