Emanuel Wilson U 52.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Wilson has been lackluster as a rusher this season. The 27-year-old is averaging just 3.5 YPC and he owns a 41.4% rushing success rate, both of which rank bottom-10 among the backs who have seen 20+ carries. Only six of Wilson’s 87 rushes have gone for 10+ yards and he was held to 52 yards last Thursday vs. the Broncos.

In this game, Wilson saw 14 carries and he only logged 31.8% of the snaps, both of which are low marks for him over the last three games. Wilson only handled 60.9% of the running back carries for the Seahawks, as George Holani and Velus Jones Jr. saw five and four carries behind Wilson, respectively. Wilson handled 14 of the 23 carries shared by those three backs.

Given Wilson’s inefficiencies, the Seahawks mixing other backs in makes sense for this offense and Wilson is expected to see a similar workload tonight, as his rushing attempts line is 14.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

On top of the concerns about his role, Wilson is in a tough spot tonight vs. the Chiefs. Kansas City is giving up the fourth-fewest yards per rush (3.5) and this defense has only allowed two backs to top 50 rushing yards this season. Wilson should struggle in this matchup and he is a great bet for under 52.5 rushing yards.
