Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will close down the Week 7 NFL Sunday slate during the SNF matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
There will be plenty of attention on Kenneth Walker III as he returns to the place where he spent the first four seasons of his career. The last time he took the field with the Seahawks, he was hoisting the Lombardi Trophy and being named Super Bowl MVP. He will now wear different colors and line up alongside Patrick Mahomes after signing with Kansas City this offseason following his departure from Seattle.
Looking at the odds for the Week 7 SNF matchup, the Seahawks enter as three-point favorites and hold -148 odds of winning outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Chiefs hold +124 odds of winning outright, with the game total set at 42.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved. Check out the game preview and more on DraftKings Network. For now, here’s my top Patrick Mahomes prop bet for Sunday Night Football.
Patrick Mahomes Best Passing Touchdowns Pick vs. Seahawks
Patrick Mahomes Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+153)
Much of the attention will be on Walker’s return to Seattle, but Mahomes’ return to form is another major storyline surrounding the Chiefs. Following the season-ending ACL tear he suffered last year, the two-time MVP has looked increasingly like his usual self. Through the opening five games, Mahomes has completed 66.5% of his pass attempts for 1,309 passing yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions.
Walker III has led Kansas City’s touchdown production early in the season. Through the Chiefs’ undefeated start, the former Seahawks star has recorded eight total touchdowns in five games, with six coming on the ground. However, Mahomes has also played a major role in the team’s scoring, throwing nine touchdown passes this season.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has recorded at least two passing touchdowns in four of the five games this season, with as many as three in a matchup. He has also thrown for at least two passing scores in 98 of his 152 career games, with the playoffs included, averaging 2.1 passing scores per game.
This is a strong overall defense by the Seahawks, which largely served as their identity for winning the championship last year. Entering this week, they rank fifth in the NFL in points allowed and have given up fewer yards than any team in football. But they have been more vulnerable against the pass, ranking 14th in passing touchdowns allowed compared to sixth in rushing scores conceded. Brock Purdy tallied a pair of passing scores against them, and Marcus Mariota notched three passing touchdowns when he faced off against the Seahawks already this season.
No team is more familiar with the skillset of Walker III than the Seahawks themselves, and there will be a clear effort to limit his potential impact in this revenge game. Expect this to be especially evident around the end zone as Seattle will make every effort to prevent its former running back from celebrating in front of the crowd that once cheered him on. Expect Mahomes to be the clear counter to this, and he has proven more than capable of scaling up his touchdown production whenever the situation calls for it. Back Mahomes to tally over 1.5 passing touchdowns for the fifth time this season and take advantage of the favorable +153 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.
