D’Andre Swift and the Chicago Bears will take on the New England Patriots to kick off NFL Week 7 on Thursday Night Football.
Both teams are off to 4-2 starts this season. Caleb Williams and Drake Maye were the first and third overall picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, and each stands in as the face of their respective franchise.
Looking at the odds, the Bears enter as three-point favorites with -155 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Patriots are +130 to pull off the upset, with the game total set at O/U 50.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved. You can check out the game preview and more on DraftKings Network. But for now, let’s look at my top D’Andre Swift prop bet for Thursday Night Football.
D’Andre Swift Best Rushing Yards Pick for Thursday Night Football
D’Andre Swift Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-111)
Through the first six games of the season, D’Andre Swift has led the Bears’ rushing attack. The Georgia product has handled 94 carries for 398 yards and six touchdowns, plus 140 receiving yards. Swift has rushed at least 15 times in five of his six games this season.
His workload could increase in Week 7, as Kyle Monangai will miss the matchup with thumb and toe injuries. Monangai has received 10+ carries in all four games he has played and recorded as many as 30 in a single game. Expect his absence to put more responsibility on Swift and lead to more production.
The Patriots have been strong defensively overall, ranking fifth in points allowed per game and sixth in total yards allowed per contest. But there have been opportunities to attack them on the ground. Over the past four weeks, the Patriots have allowed over 63.5 rushing yards to Jacksonville’s Bhayshul Tuten (73), Buffalo’s James Cook III (75), and New York’s Braelon Allen (78).
Chicago has remained committed to the run all season, with its ground game forming the foundation of the offense. The Bears enter Week 7 leading the NFL in rush attempts and total rushing yards. That approach should continue, even with Caleb Williams looking sharp in his return from injury last week.
Swift has been limited to just 87 rushing yards over his last two games, though he has found the end zone three times in that stretch. He has also rushed for 124 yards in a single game this season, along with an 84-yard performance, and should get more opportunities with Monangai sidelined. Expect Swift to get plenty of action on the ground and clear 63.5 rushing yards for the third time this season.
