Today’s UFC 333 Prelims feature a three-round Middleweight contest between Abus Magomedov and Cam Rowston. Magomedov, 36, has been in the UFC since 2022 and is 5-3 in the promotion. Rowston’s record stands at 15-3 with 13 finishes, and he has won seven consecutive fights. The Prelims for this event start at 12:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Check out my best bet for Abus Magomedov vs. Cam Rowston at UFC 333 below.

Cam Rowston Moneyline (+102)

Over the last seven years, Rowston has gone 12-1 in his previous 13 contests, with his lone loss coming against Torrez Finney in his first appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. In May, Rowston earned a unanimous decision win over Robert Bryczek. Rowston is from Australia but trains at the legendary gym City Kickboxing in Auckland, New Zealand, led by Eugene Bareman and home to Carlos Ulberg, and Navajo Stirling.

In June, Magomedov got back in the win column in a big way by submitting Michal Oleksiejczuk in the first round. Magomedov’s three UFC losses came against top-10 middleweights Joe Pyfer, Caio Borralho, and current champion Sean Strickland. Entering this fight, Magomedov is 29-7-1 with 22 finishes during his MMA career.

In this bout, Magomedov is a slight -122 favorite, while Rowston is a +102 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over at -180 and the under at +140. Rowston stands one inch taller (6’3″ vs. 6’2″) while both fighters have an identical standing reach (78″).

On the feet, Rowston has the advantage, landing 1.54 more significant strikes per minute while absorbing 1.22 fewer strikes. Magomedov has the edge on the ground, averaging more takedowns per 15 minutes (2.50 vs. 1.34) with better takedown accuracy (59% vs. 44%) and defense (100% vs. 33%). Rowston hasn’t allowed an opponent to score a takedown in his previous four bouts. If Rowston can keep this fight on the feet as much as possible, it favors him. Early in his UFC career, Rowston has done an excellent job staying active on the feet, moving around, and not allowing opponents much success.
