The 76ers are visiting the Knicks on Tuesday night to begin the 2026-27 NBA season. On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is favored by 4.5 points, and this game carries a total of 232.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite OG Anunoby player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup.

OG Anunoby 2+ Steals (+148)

The 29-year-old wingman is back tonight fresh off a championship run. OG Anunoby put up another strong season statistically, averaging 16.7 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 1.6 SPG. He shot 48.4% from the floor and 82.8% from the line. Anunoby will once again be the Knicks’ starter at PF where he will do his damage everywhere on the court.

Anunoby recorded 33 games with at least two steals in his 67 regular-season appearances last season, which is just under half. His hit rate is higher than his actual price requires, and if we’re being technical, the historical rate should equal roughly +103 odds, not accounting for the matchup tonight. We’re getting an excellent price here.

Furthermore, Philadelphia gives Anunoby several potential sources for steals. Jaylen Brown averaged 3.6 turnovers per game last season. LeBron James 3.0, and Joel Embiid 2.9. The new-look Sixers are a new squad that will take a minute to gel properly, which likely means miscommunication, inaccurate passes, and overall sloppiness. Anunoby should have plenty of opportunities to disrupt the Sixers’ many ball handlers, and his length will help him swipe balls in passing lanes.

But if we’re being honest about steals, it’s mostly about playing time. Staying on the floor simply gives players more opportunities to collect loose balls or snipe random errant passes. Anunoby started all 67 of his games last season and averaged 33.2 MPG. He’ll likely get a similar workload this season, and should have an opportunity to put up another excellent defensive season. At +148, I’m confident in taking a swing.
