Prediction, pick for Smilla Sundell vs. Aline Pereira at DWCS Season 10, Week 10

The co-main event of tonight’s Dana White’s Contender Series card is a three-round Women’s Bantamweight contest featuring Smilla Sundell vs. Aline Pereira. In MMA, Pereira is 3-2, while Sundell is 2-0 with two knockouts. Tonight’s DWCS card takes place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Check out my best bet below for Smilla Sundell vs. Aline Pereira at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Smilla Sundell to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (+110)

If the last name Pereira sounds familiar, it is because former UFC Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Alex Pereira is Aline Pereira’s older brother. Like Alex, Aline also started competing in kickboxing, where she went 2-2 from 2018 to 2021. From 2022 to 2023, she began her MMA career with a 1-2 record in the well-known promotion LFA. But after that, Pereira moved to Karate and found a ton of success, going 3-0 in Karate Combat. In November 2025, Pereira returned to MMA and has since won her last two fights. Overall, Pereira has won her last five combat sports bouts.

Sundell, 21, began her MMA career this year and has quickly become an intriguing prospect. Before starting MMA, Sundell went 5-0 with three knockouts in Muay Thai and kickboxing contests. Sundell is a former One Championship Strawweight Muay Thai Champion and successfully defended the title twice before leaving the promotion.

In this fight on DraftKings Sportsbook, Sundell is a massive -520 favorite, while Pereira is a +390 underdog. The over/under is set at 2.5 rounds with both being -115. Also, this fight is +110 to go the distance and -145 for it to end early.

Even though Aline Pereira enters this fight with high expectations because of her brother’s legendary career, she could struggle, as she has in the past on big stages. As the odds show, this is another tough matchup for Pereira as Sundell is a tremendous striker who has excelled in multiple sports at such a young age. Sundell has won her previous four contests by knockout, including in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Five of Sundell’s seven combat sports victories have come by knockout. That is why I’m taking Sundell to win by knockout at +110.
