Bijan Robinson Rushing Yards Pick for Falcons vs. Packers

The Falcons season has gotten off to a rough start, sitting at 0-2 after two games. There is some good news in Atlanta, as Michael Penix Jr. will make his season debut on Thursday in place of Cooper Rush.

Looking at the odds, the Packers enter as six-point favorites and hold -278 odds to win outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Falcons hold +225 odds to produce the upset, with the game total set at 44.5 points.

Bijan Robinson Over 78.5 Rushing Yards (-111)

Despite the Falcons offense struggling with Cooper Rush under center for the first two weeks, Bijan Robinson has continued to do his thing. Robinson has gone over this rushing total in one of his first two games, averaging 77.5 yards per game on the ground. Michael Penix Jr. coming back will likely open this offense up, and give Bijan more looks that are not against a loaded box. As a result, I think the numbers will improve even more.

The Packers have done a good job handling the run in the opening few weeks of the season, but they have yet to face a back like Robinson. While Aaron Jones and Breece Hall are decent running backs, Robinson is one of the best in the league and will give Green Bay’s defense all sorts of problems.

Bijan is obviously a threat on the ground, but he also added eight catches for 90 yards and a touchdown through the air in Week 1 against Pittsburgh. Having a competent quarterback under center will open this offense up in a plethora of ways, not just for Robinson but for other weapons like Drake London and Kyle Pitts.

I don’t think the Falcons win this game, but expect Robinson to get over this total. Let’s not forget that in 2025, Robinson averaged 86.9 rush yards per game with Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins under center. Robinson has still performed admirably given the fact that his team has mostly been throwing the ball late due to the scoreboard and he has faced loaded boxes, but with improved quarterback play, I think the over here is a great bet.
