Apple’s yearly September keynote event is almost here! Every year, their September event is highly anticipated, as it normally includes a new iPhone along with updates to other devices. After 15 years as Apple CEO, Tim Cook has stepped down and is now Executive Chairman of the Board. This led Apple to name John Ternus the new CEO, and this will be his first keynote in the role.

Apple will host its next keynote event on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. 

What will likely be announced?

At Apple’s annual September keynote, the main announcement is traditionally the new iPhone. This year is expected to be no different, as the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone are slated for announcement. Two new watches are also likely: the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.

Other items that could be part of this keynote include AirPods 5, Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini, and a Home hub. This event will also likely introduce iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, tvOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27.
