Check out my best bet below for Gabriel Lorenco vs. Thomas Petersen at tonight’s UFC Fight Night.
Gabriel Lorenco Moneyline (+140)
On September 1, Lorenco scored a first-round knockout over Charlie Cleveland on Dana White’s Contender Series, earning him a UFC contract. After suffering a loss in his MMA debut, Lorenco has won eight consecutive fights, with seven coming by finish. Petersen has been in the UFC since February 2024 and is 3-4 in the promotion. He is 1-1 in 2026, with a win over Guilherme Pat and a loss to Valter Walter, his last fight, in July.
For this fight on DraftKings Sportsbook, Petersen is a -166 favorite, while Lorenco is a +140 underdog. The over/under is 1.5 rounds, with the over at -145 and the under at +114. Lorenco is slightly taller (6’2″ vs. 6’1″) and has a two-inch reach advantage (76″ vs. 74″) over Petersen.
Petersen is the more well-rounded fighter, skilled on the feet and the ground, while Lorenco is primarily a striker. But because Petersen has been very inconsistent, it’s tough to trust him against tough competition in the UFC. With Lorenco’s physical advantages, he should be able to keep this fight standing, and if that occurs, it heavily favors the Chute Boxe product.
