Who will win American Idol Season 24?

Let’s break down each artist’s chances of winning American Idol:

Keyla Richardson

Keyla has progressed tremendously from the start of the season up to the finale, more than her fellow finalists. It feels like people truly started to believe in her prospects of winning the competition following an incredible Top 14 rendition of “With A Little Help From My Friends”, and she’s only grown in confidence from that point. All of that said, Keyla doesn’t boast the vocal talent of Jordan, and she doesn’t seem to have quite the cult following that Hannah possesses. Winning this season is still within her reach, but it will take the best performances of her life on Monday night to do so.

Jordan McCullough

I can already picture my impending despair Monday night when Jordan is not announced as the winner. I’ve been extremely vocal (no pun intended) throughout my entire coverage of this season that McCullough is simply on a different level than everyone else in the competition. He has delivered masterclass after masterclass on the stage, regularly leaving the judges speechless on their feet. In my opinion, it feels pretty clear that they believe he should win, but it doesn’t seem like America will agree come Monday.

Hannah Harper

At the end of the day, in order to win American Idol, you need the people on your side. Through various public fan polls (and a simple gander at the views difference on the American Idol Youtube account) it has become quite clear that Hannah is America’s favorite artist out of this group. Now, it’s not without reason, as she is a seemingly certain future country superstar who has given us multiple immaculate performances this season. As long as Hannah maintains her current form in the finale, it would be a pretty sizable upset to see her lose.

My pick: Hannah Harper

Let me be clear, Harper is an immensely talented artist who has a remarkably bright future within the country industry. Personally, I would give Jordan the edge, but Hannah is certainly deserving.
