For a good chunk of Game 6, it seemed the Magic had punched their ticket to the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs. It would have been a monumental upset, but the Pistons pulled off a major comeback to force Game 7.

Detroit overcame a 24-point deficit to win 93-79 in Game 6. Orlando scored just 19 points in the second half. That is not a typo. Now the No. 1 vs. No. 8 matchup will head to Game 7 on Sunday, May 3.

Here are the opening odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 7 between the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic.

The Pistons open as 7.5-point favorites and -298 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Magic are +240 underdogs, while the total is set at 204.5.

Few people expected this series to be close considering the Pistons won 60 games and the Magic barely made the playoffs. Orlando defeated Charlotte in the Play-In Tournament to punch its ticket to the first round.

The Magic took that momentum into the first round, winning Game 1 on the road. They won both Game 3 and Game 4 at home to take a 3-1 series lead over the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons came back to win Games 5 and 6, putting the series at 3-3.

One game remains, and it’ll be in Detroit with the No. 1 seed favored by 7.5 points.
