That was the kind of Game 1 we expected between these two teams. Excellent pitching, strong defense, great bullpens, and just enough clutch hitting made it work for the Milwaukee Brewers. They defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 to kick off the 2026 World Series and will look to double the lead at home on Saturday. Let’s get into the opening odds for this game.
Opening Odds for 2026 World Series Game 2 on DraftKings Sportsbook
Here’s a look at the odds for the 2026 World Series on the DraftKings Sportsbook:

Drew Rasmussen steps up for the Rays in Game 2. He’s been Tampa Bay’s ace all season and has carried that form into the postseason. In three playoff starts, Rasmussen has allowed just three earned runs in 21 innings (1.29 ERA), striking out 23 batters and allowing only three walks. Tampa Bay is 2-1 in his three starts, including a massive Game 5 win over the Guardians in the ALCS. He loves to pound the strike zone, keeps his defense involved, and is nearly un-hittable when his strikeout stuff is working.
Opposite him is youngster Logan Henderson. The rookie has been a key part of Milwaukee’s youth movement, posting a 2.47 ERA in 18 starts and 98.1 regular-season innings. In his first postseason start, Henderson scattered two runs (one earned) over five innings against the Padres in the NLDS. His effort was shakier against the Dodgers in the NLCS, allowing four runs in four innings and committing two errors that led to runs. The shaky defense and dubious command (five walks and one HBP in nine postseason innings) could be a big problem against this Rays lineup.
