NBA Best Bets: Pistons vs. Warriors Prop Bets for Friday 1/30/26

Updated:

By: Zach Thompson

After the Raptors and Magic tip off Friday night’s ESPN doubleheader, the Detroit Pistons are out West to finish off the nightcap by visiting the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco. If you’re staying up for the late game, some strong player prop bets can make this compelling non-conference matchup even more exciting. You can find my favorite options on the board listed below, and can use these picks as stand-alone plays or group them in a Same Game Parlay (SGP), as indicated at the bottom of the post.

In the overall matchup, the Warriors are slight 2.5-point home favorites, with the point total at 224.5.

The Pistons come in with a better record at 34-12 compared to 27-22 for the Warriors, but Golden State is 17-7 at home. The Warriors won two of their last three and are adjusting to being without Jimmy Butler III the rest of the season. The Pistons lost in Phoenix on Thursday, and will face a tough task on the second night of their back-to-back as they try to take down Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

Since its the second day in a row with a game for the Pistons, their injury report will be critical to consider once it comes out, while the Warriors are mostly healthy aside from Butler and Jonathan Kuminga (knee) being ruled out.

This will be the first matchup between these two playoff contenders this season, and could give us a grea matchup between Cade Cunningham and Stephen Curry. Each team brings interesting options to consider for some strong player prop bets in this contest, so let’s dive in and highlight my favorite player prop bets from this contest.

Pistons vs. Warriors Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Ausar Thompson over 7.5 Rebounds + Assists (-119)

Thompson doesn’t always get a ton of usage and score many points, but his contributions on the defensive end and in rebounds and assists keep him in a very involved role for Detroit and set him up well to go over this prop line.

Thompson had four rebounds and six assists to easily go over this prop in 25 minutes on Thursday, and he has gone over this prop line in 11 of his last 12 games dating back to Jan. 4 against the Cavs. He has at least 10 rebounds plus assists in six of those games including four of his last five, so he’s been clearing this prop line by a comfortable margin with regularity over the last few weeks.

The Thompson twins are turning 23 on Friday, and Ausar should be able to celebrate by delivering the win in this prop against the Warriors. If some of the other members of the rotation sit out since it’s the second game of a back-to-back, he could get even more work than usual. He has gone over this prop line on the second game of Detroit’s last three back-to-back sets of games.

Brandin Podziemski more than 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-112)

While his scoring hasn’t taken off without Butler in the last five games, Pod Racer has been running hot, overall and getting more minutes. He’s typically a little more productive in front of his home fans, so coming home should help him find his scoring rhythm.
Podziesmski hasn’t been scoring or making many threes, but he has still found a way to still get over this PRA (points, rebounds and assists) prop in seven of his last eight games.
He had 11 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for 26 PRA on Wednesday against the Jazz after posting exactly 23 PRA in three previous road games against the Mavs and Timberwolves.
Without Butler, Podziemski plays a more prominent role in the offense and should have multiple paths to getting over this PRA line for Friday night.

Moses Moody over 11.5 points (-124)

With Podziemski filling in lots of other stat production, Moody has been helping lift Butler’s considerable scoring workload. The 23-year-old moved into the starting lineup for each of his team’s last 23 games, averaging 10.7 points in 24.3 minutes per game.

He’s had double-digit points in each of his last nine games, with an average of 15.2 points in 25.3 minutes per game over that span. He reached at least 12 points in seven of those nine games, including three of his last four games.

On Wednesday against the Jazz, Moody had 26 points in 26 minutes. He did come up just short of this with 10 points on Monday, but that was a game in which the Warriors rested most of their starters. In his game with typical minutes, he has been easily going over this prop line, and if this game is a close contest as expected, he’ll likely have to deliver at least 12 points against Detroit on Friday night.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Draymond Green under 7.5 points (-105)

If you’re building an SGP (Same Game Parlay) for this Friday night matchup, adding in the under on Draymond’s points lifts the SGP to a solid +950 overall, as you can see below. If you want to mix in picks from other games, you can also build a strong SGPx with these core plays.

Green went 0-for-6 and didn’t score a single point against the Jazz in 23 minutes on Wednesday and has come in under this prop line in four straight games and in six of his last eight. He has typically played well against the Pistons when he faces them in Detroit, and always has the potential to go off, but lately Quentin Post and Al Horford have been doing most of the scoring in the front court for Golden State.
