Tonight at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, the UFC is hosting its final event of 2025. It is being headlined by a Flyweight contest between No. 2 Brandon Royval vs. No. 6 Manel Kape.
Here are my three best bets for tonight’s UFC Fight Night.
Royval vs. Kape: Fight to go the distance (+130)
Kape is 21-7 with 18 career finishes and beat Asu Almabayev in his previous contest in March. Even though Kape has won two consecutive contests by knockout, his three bouts before that went to decision. Kape has faced talented opponents, but Royval might be his toughest one in a few years.
Royval is a former UFC title challenger and is coming off a loss to Joshua Van at UFC 317. Before his recent loss, Royval won two straight fights. Royval is 5-3 in his last eight fights, with all three losses coming against UFC Champions (Van and Alexandre Pantoja).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kape is a -285 favorite with Royval being a +230 underdog. Since this fight could be a very close matchup on the feet, getting it to go the distance at +130 is a good value play. Royval’s last four fights have gone to a decision, with his previous finish coming in April 2023.
King Green to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+150)
Earlier this week, King Green vs. Lance Gibson Jr. was added to this card. This is Gibson’s first appearance in the UFC, and he has previously competed in Bellator. Gibson is 9-1 with seven finishes in his career, but this is Gibson’s first fight since November 2024.
Green has lost two straight fights, but hasn’t had three consecutive losses since 2017. During his UFC career, Green has fought elite competition, and although Gibson is skilled, he isnt on the level of Green’s past opponents. Two of Green’s last three wins have come by knockout or submission. At 39 years old, Green needs a win impressively to work his way back in the Lightweight rankings. Green is a -192 favorite as Gibson is the underdog at +160. Green is +150 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission.
