Paige Bueckers Best Prop Bet for Wings vs. Dream on Wednesday 7/30/25

There are a few must-watch games in the WNBA that ticket prices rise significantly for. Just 21 games into her WNBA career, Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers is already one of those athletes, as fans flock to see the first overall pick play.

Despite the Wings’ disappointing 8-19 record, Bueckers has been everything she was advertised to be, averaging 18.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game on decent 46-34-85 shooting splits. Her next chance to prove herself will come tonight at 8 p.m. ET against the Atlanta Dream.

Dallas is a four-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set for 166.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bet centered around the brightest star drafted first overall in 2025 by a North Texas top-level basketball team.

Paige Bueckers 20+ Points (+160)

Bueckers has had three 20-point performances in her last five games and has reached that mark nine times over her 15 games since her brief early-season absence while in concussion protocol. The 23-year-old is clearly playing with confidence, perhaps best exemplified by the audacious dribble move into baseline jumper that she nailed over the New York Liberty’s Stephanie Talbot in the Wings’ win over the Liberty on Monday. Among players who have played at least 250 minutes in their team’s last 10 games, Bueckers ranks 11th in usage.

Plus, while the Dream have an okay defense — the eighth-best overall and the third-best since losing All-Star Rhyne Howard for the month — they aren’t well-suited to stop Bueckers’ game. Though she has the size and skill to get downhill, she rarely attempts shots at the rim, attempting only 1.6 shots per game in the restricted area, and that’s where Atlanta has thrived. It has allowed the third-most made floater-range shots and the most made middies this season, and Bueckers has become a notable midrange ace, attempting the second-most shots from that range and canning them at a 46.0% clip.
