There are just 11 matches remaining in the Premier League season, and Liverpool — with a 13-point lead over Arsenal — effectively has the title wrapped up. But there’s still plenty to play for for all 20 clubs. With England’s top flight almost certain to receive five Champions League places for the 2025-26 competition, just six points separate third-place Nottingham Forest and 10th-place Aston Villa, although Villa have already played 28 matches. At the bottom end of the table, Wolves hold a five-point lead over Ipswich Town and Leicester City, with every team above them effectively safe and Southampton basically relegated.
DraftKings Sportsbook has plenty of bets available every week for players looking to get it on the Premier League action. Here are my top betting picks for Matchweek 28.

Nottingham Forest +0.5 (-120)
This line is disrespectful to a team that’s third in the Premier League for a reason and has a very solid 7-4-2 record at home, the fifth-best home mark in the league. Forest isn’t as much of a traditional powerhouse as City, is in worse form (having picked up four points from its last five matches instead of City’s nine), and, by some metrics, has been worse on a season-long basis than the four-time defending champions. I’m just not buying that City has roughly a 50% chance of winning outright on the road. Pep Guardiola’s men are merely the eighth-best road team in the league this season and the last three times they’ve faced an opponent of Forest’s quality away from the Etihad, they suffered defeats to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and a 5-1 thrashing to Arsenal.
Forest hasn’t won a match in the last five in all competitions, but it faced fairly difficult opponents. Draws to Exeter City and Ipswich Town — which the team eventually won on penalties — in the FA Cup are excusable, given that it didn’t start a full-strength eleven, and a 0-0 draw against Arsenal is a genuinely impressive result. There’s little shame in losing in a 4-3 shootout to Newcastle, either, and the only bad result was a 2-1 loss to Fulham. These games happen; I’m not convinced that City is so much better than Forest that that the home side won’t manage even a draw.
Brighton Moneyline (+100)
The Seagulls are the only squad to have won each of their past three league matches, earning home victories over Chelsea and Bournemouth and defeating Southampton on the road. Only one of those wins — the performance against the Blues — is particularly impressive, but three points are three points, and Brighton is making a late run at a Champions League place in an exceptionally tight table. The Seagulls are just three points behind Chelsea, although their matches against Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in Matchweeks 29 and 30 will make or break their chances.
Brighton surely isn’t looking ahead to either of those games quite yet, because the Cottagers can’t entirely be written off. Fulham has just one fewer point in the league and, like the Seagulls, has picked up nine points from its last five games. All things considered, it hasn’t generated tons of headlines, but 2-1 wins over Newcastle and Forest in Matchweeks 24 and 25 were very impressive. The Cottagers have also been in great road form this season, picking up the sixth-most points away from home.
Southampton O0.5 Goals (-115)
Realistically, what incentive do the Reds have to try in this game? The Premier League is virtually secure, they’re playing a bottom-of-the-table team, and, most importantly, they have a Round of 16 tie against a dangerous PSG squad coming up on Tuesday in the Champions League. In the first leg of that match, Liverpool won 1-0, but it was thoroughly outplayed by the French side and was effectively only saved by Alisson’s heroics. The Reds will need Alisson and Mohamed Salah to be at their very best next week in order to advance. Liverpool won’t underestimate the Saints, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he rotates his squad somewhat. Alisson will still play — the Brazilian has started every game in which he has been healthy — but what about Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai, or Ryan Gravenberch?
Southampton has only scored nine goals all season and has only hit the two-goal threshold once so far this campaign. The Saints could easily be on track to record the worst season since Derby County in 2007-08, and they certainly won’t take even a point from this game, but Alisson could concede a goal and the fanbase would be completely unfazed. Many Premier League champions have had slip-ups against bottom-of-the-table teams, and Liverpool could have one tomorrow, if conceding a single goal in an easy victory counts as a slip-up.
Arsenal O5.5 Corners (-130)
The Gunners are excellent in set pieces, having earned 175 corner kicks this season, the fifth-most in the Premier League. They’re also second in the league in set pieces that ultimately lead to a shot attempt, with 58 such chances so far this season. Meanwhile, while Manchester United has actually allowed the sixth-fewest corners overall, the Red Devils have allowed at least six corners in 10 of their 27 league matches. Arsenal has earned at least six in 14 of its 27.
The first time the two teams matched up this season, in Matchweek 14, the Gunners earned 13 crosses, tied for their second-highest total of the season, in that 2-0 victory. That game also marked Manchester United’s most corners given up in a game. With Arsenal effectively through in the Champions League — it has a 7-1 lead on Dutch outfit PSV — it should start a full-strength side and play aggressively.
