On Saturday, the Golden State Warriors snapped their three-game losing streak against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tonight, the Warriors host the Indiana Pacers at 10:00 p.m. ET. The Warriors won seven of their first eight games of the season but now have fallen to seventh in the Western Conference.
Two-time NBA MVP and four-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry is still Golden State’s best player and leading scorer. But it is different this season. He is averaging 22.4 points, 6.5 assists, and five rebounds while shooting 41.1 percent on three-pointers. Curry is averaging the fewest points per game since his fourth season in the NBA (2012-13).

Stephen Curry over 5.5 assists (-120)
Although Curry’s scoring has been inconsistent, he has improved as a passer. He is averaging 1.4 more assists per game this season, his highest since the 2019-20 season. He has had 10 assists in two of the previous three games. He has totaled more than 5.5 assists in 14 of the 23 games he has appeared in this year.
Curry has hit this mark in four of his last seven games. Although Curry hasn’t had back-to-back games with more than 5.5 assists since November 22, it is bound to happen at some point. In his previous game against the Timberwolves, Curry finished with a 31.7 usage rating. In four of the last six games, he has had at least six assists in contests where his usage rating has been at least 30.
Curry is -120 on DraftKings Sportsbook to record over 5.5 assists against the Pacers. In five of the last seven games against the Pacers, Curry has totaled more than 5.5 assists. This should be a high-scoring game, as the Pacers allow the eighth most points per game in the NBA (116.3).
