I don’t want to alarm anyone, but this is a really, really enticing Monday Night Football matchup.
Both the Bears and the Seahawks are Super Bowl contenders in a stacked NFC field, and both franchises are walking the walk and talking the talk after acquiring big-name players before the trade deadline. All-Pro Quenton Nelson is now in Seattle, while All-Pro Jeffery Simmons is with Chicago.
Still, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves — let’s not even get past the first touchdown of the game. That’s what we’re here to break down. Let’s sort through the odds on the DraftKings Sportsbook and make a couple of picks for tonight’s primetime action.
Bears vs. Seahawks First Touchdown Scorer Odds

Bears vs. Seahawks First Touchdown Scorer Picks
Zach Charbonnet First TD Scorer (+700)
I’m of two minds here. On the one hand, in a backfield that’s so impossible to project, it seems a little silly that Chabonnet’s odds are this much shorter than the odds of Emanuel Wilson (+1600) and Jadarian Price (+1700). However, I truly believe that it’s Charbonnet who will end this contest with the most touches of the trio, and it’s Charbonnet who has thrived as the Seahawks’ goal line back in recent history. Remember, it was the former second-round pick that handled 64.6% of Seattle’s carries inside the 10-yard line last season, and that was with Kenneth Walker III as a teammate. That volume translated into 12 rushing touchdowns for Charbonnet. I may not know how this committee will fully shake out, yet I feel very confident that Charbonnet will get the first crack at high-leverage red zone opportunities.
Colston Loveland First TD Scorer (+1400)
We all know that Loveland is high on the list of fantasy disappointments so far this season. However, the big tight end has caught a red zone touchdown in each of the Bears’ past two games, and that just so happens to correlate with the return of Caleb Williams (+2500). Coincidence? I think not. Loveland has actually seen four targets inside the 20 since Williams came back in Week 6, and that’s been enough to transport him to the top of Chicago’s season-long leaderboard with nine in total. It makes sense. Loveland is 6’6 with a wingspan of over 78 inches. That’s exactly the type of pass catcher you need when the field is compressed near the end zone. It’s a tough spot against a Bears defense that’s limited opposing TEs throughout the opening seven weeks, but it’s not like there’s many “good” matchups in this clash between contenders.
