Caleb Williams Passing Yards Pick for Patriots vs. Bears

Caleb Williams Passing Yards Pick for Patriots vs. Bears

By: Cooper Albers

Caleb Williams is back under center for the Chicago Bears, looking to build on last week’s strong return as he faces the New England Patriots in the NFL’s Week 7 edition of Thursday Night Football.

Chicago’s franchise quarterback diced up the Atlanta Falcons for 305 yards and a touchdown in his first start since tearing his hamstring in Week 2. He’ll now face a much tougher test against a formidable New England defense.

Kickoff from Soldier Field is at 8:15 p.m. ET. The Bears are three-point home favorites with -155 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Patriots are +130 underdogs, with the game total set at O/U 50.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top Caleb Williams prop bet for Thursday’s primetime clash between the Patriots and the Bears.

Caleb Williams Passing Yards Pick for Thursday Night Football

Best Bet: Caleb Williams 250+ Passing Yards (+102)

Caleb Williams was dialed in during his return to the gridiron, completing 30 of 36 passes (83.3 percent) to lead the Bears to a 31–23 win in Atlanta. Williams — who tore his hamstring late against the Vikings in Week 2 — now leads the NFL with a 72.5 percent completion percentage and has thrown for 250+ yards in both complete games he’s played this season.

The former first overall pick, 24, will look to stay calculated through the air against a stingy New England defense, which has allowed the NFL’s fifth-fewest points per game (18.8). But while the Patriots have kept scoring to a minimum this year, their coverage isn’t necessarily impregnable. They head into Week 7 ranking 17th in opponent yards per attempt (7.1) and T-25th in completion percentage (66.2 percent).

Although New England has won three straight games, opposing offenses have thrown for 250+ passing yards in each contest during that stretch. In a potential offensive shootout — the game total sits north of 50 points — Williams is a solid plus-money play to keep the trend alive on Thursday Night Football.
