DraftKings King of the End Zone Long Shot Picks for Week 6 – October 19, 2026

Week 6 of the NFL season concludes with a chance for the first team to reach 6-0 this year. The San Francisco 49ers can obtain that mark as they host the 1-3-1 Commanders in the week’s final game. The Commanders are coming off a tough tie against the Giants last week, and coach Dan Quinn is reportedly on the hot seat. Both sides of the matchup have plenty of intriguing storylines, and to add another layer of excitement, DraftKings Sportsbook is offering another King of the End Zone promotion with a massive haul of bonus bets.

This week’s King of the End Zone promo will award a massive $2 million in bonus bets. If you opt in, you get a token to place a single bet of at least $5 on a player in a touchdown market; if he scores the longest touchdown of the night, you win a share of the $2 million in bonus bets. So far this season, Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Bills WR Josh Palmer, Bears WR Kalif Raymond, Falcons RB Bijan Robinson and Bills RB James Cook III have claimed King of the End Zone honors and earned substantial Bonus Bets for their backers.

Earlier on Monday, I ran down some of my top plays for Week 6’s Monday Night Football version of DraftKings King of the End Zone. In this post, we’ll look at three long-shot plays that could pay out big if they win.

King of the End Zone — What You Need to Know

The promotion rules are pretty simple. After opting in, bettors will receive a token to place on a single bet with a $5 minimum in the “TD Scorer” market. If the player with the token scores the game’s longest touchdown, you will win a share of $2 million in bonus bets. The fewer people who select that player, the larger the payout, so balance the pick’s popularity with its likelihood of hitting. A longer shot could land a massive payout, while a more obvious choice is more likely to win, even if the bonus bet payout is smaller.

Passing touchdowns are ineligible for this promotion, so if you want to pick Brock Purdy, for example, he’ll have to run it in himself for the longest score. Although D/ST isn’t an individual player, they can become King of the End Zone if the longest touchdown comes on a defensive or special teams play.

King of the End Zone Long Shot Picks for Monday, Oct. 19:

When making King of the End Zone picks, consider players likely to score a touchdown and the game’s longest touchdown. In these picks, I’m looking for an option that could break a long score but isn’t a popular play. They don’t have the highest likelihood of hitting, but if they do, the bonus-bet payout would be huge.

These three picks are my favorite long-shot plays with the potential to score a long touchdown, and they’re off the radar enough to be less popular.

1. Jayden Daniels Anytime Touchdown (+220)

Jayden Daniels would have to run or catch the longest touchdown of the game to claim King of the End Zone on Monday, since passing scores don’t count for the promotion. He has rushed for two touchdowns this season, both against the Giants last week. He ran for 38 yards on his first score of the day and added a 26-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt has the Commanders’ only other two rushing touchdowns this season, and he’ll miss this contest with a groin injury. Rachaad White will likely get most of the backfield work, with Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols possibly mixing in. However, Daniels could also get more running opportunities after showing he still has big-play ability and isn’t hesitant to run after his elbow dislocation.

Daniels usually takes off and runs more when he’s trying to rally his team from behind. Since the Commanders are 7.5-point underdogs, he could find himself in that scenario on Monday night. If he makes plays with his legs, he could be a nice sleeper option for Monday’s King of the End Zone.

2. Jordan Watkins Anytime Touchdown (+370)

The Commanders have allowed seven wide receiver touchdowns in just five games this season. They gave up big games to CeeDee Lamb and Jaxon Smith-Njigba earlier this season, and to Malik Nabers in last week’s tie. The 49ers will be short-handed at that position, though, with Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) already ruled out and Mike Evans (ribs, Achilles) questionable.

If Evans joins Samuel on the sidelines, the team’s top receivers would be recent addition Brandin Cooks, Christian Kirk (who could be activated from IR), Jacob Cowing, and Jordan Watkins. Cooks has the only touchdown in that group this season, but he also has only one catch and is still new to the team after getting promoted to the active roster on Oct. 1.

Watkins flashed big-play potential in his Week 3 season debut, catching both targets for 60 yards against the Cardinals. The second-year receiver from Ole Miss caught a 34-yard and a 26-yard pass against Arizona. He hasn’t been targeted in the last two games, but with Samuel out and Evans uncertain, he could step into a bigger role and deliver a surprise King of the End Zone victory.

3. Treylon Burks Anytime Touchdown (+650)

The Commanders also have wide receiver injuries. Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is questionable after missing last week’s game, but he joined limited practices Friday and Saturday.

Treylon Burks is an interesting long-shot King of the End Zone play, especially if Diggs is ruled out again. Last week, Burks led Commanders receivers with a 73% snap share and five targets. Burks has also found the end zone twice this season: an 11-yard score against the Seahawks and a 47-yard bomb from Athan Kaliakmanis in London against the Colts.

Burks also had a potential 60-yard touchdown in Week 2 against the Cowboys, but it fell short. Even that near-miss shows his potential for long touchdowns even when Diggs and McLaurin are both available. He is a long shot to score, as his odds suggest, but if he does, his route tree and usage make him capable of a long touchdown.

If you’re really looking to swing for the fences, Burks is an intriguing long-shot play with King of the End Zone upside and the potential to return large bonus-bet payouts if he claims the title.
