We’re back at the Meta APEX this weekend as top-10 middleweights Brendan Allen and Christian Leroy Duncan collide in the main event of UFC Vegas 122.
Allen enters as a -122 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Duncan is a +102 underdog, with the fight total set at O/U 3.5 Rounds.
Beyond traditional sports betting and daily fantasy, you can get more action than ever for UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Duncan. Check out DraftKings UFC Pick6 for my favorite picks for Saturday’s UFC event.
Brendan Allen | More Than 1.5 Takedowns

Middleweight contender Brendan Allen (27–7, 15–4 UFC) has climbed the 185-pound ladder thanks to his suffocating ground game. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist averages 1.52 takedowns per 15 minutes and arrives in Las Vegas with 14 career wins by submission.
Allen will likely implement his grappling against dangerous knockout threat Christian Leroy Duncan (15–2, 8–2 UFC)). The latter enters Saturday night with a 57 percent career takedown defense and has been taken down multiple times in each of his last three contests. Even in victory, Duncan was grounded five times on eight attempts in his most recent fight against Jared Cannonier.
Christian Leroy Duncan | More Than 49.5 Significant Strikes

That said, Duncan’s striking should still play a significant role in Saturday night’s main event. On the feet, the English contender is equal parts aggressive and accurate; despite facing takedown threats, he has landed more than 49.5 significant strikes in back-to-back bouts. Neither of those was a five-round main event like this one.
Duncan holds a considerable four-inch reach advantage over Allen, who has already shown holes in his striking defense. However, the latter hasn’t been stopped since 2021, suggesting his chin should hold up against his powerful opponent.
Loopy Godinez | More Than 1.5 Takedowns

Like the main event, women’s strawweight contender Loopy Godinez (14–6, 9–6 UFC) heads into Saturday night with a clear grappling advantage against formidable striker Ketlen Souza (17–6, 4–3 UFC). The former averages 2.99 takedowns per 15 minutes and has landed multiple takedowns in three of her last five fights — including her losses to dominant grapplers Tatiana Suarez and Mackenzie Dern.
Souza heads into Las Vegas with a 53 percent takedown defense; in her most recent loss — against Piera Rodriguez in August 2025 — she was grounded seven times on 10 entries. With Souza coming off a first-round knockout of Ariane Carnelossi, Godinez would be wise to follow Rodriguez’s blueprint and get things to the mat as often as possible.
Julius Walker | More Than 94.5 Fantasy Points

Julius Walker’s (7–3, 1–3 UFC) UFC career has gotten off to a turbulent start, but he heads into Saturday night with an exceptional bounce-back opportunity against beleaguered veteran Gerald Meerschaert (37–22, 12–14 UFC).
The light heavyweight prospect — who arrived in the promotion at 6–0 with six finishes — looks poised to recapture some of that panache, facing an opponent 11 years his senior who is mired in a five-fight skid and has gotten finished 15 times in his career. A highlight-reel stoppage seems inevitable for Walker — a performance that should produce at least 94.5 fantasy points.
Francisco Prado | More Than 66.5 Fantasy Points

Lightweight prospects Francisco Prado (12–5, 1–5 UFC) and Ismael Bonfim (20–7, 2–4 UFC) have combined for a miserable 3–9 record within the UFC. That said, the former has shown far more tenacity, grit, and durability inside the cage than his opponent and arrives in Las Vegas with a 100 percent finish rate.
But Bonfim — who weighed in 7.5 pounds over the lightweight limit — has consistently wilted under pressure; all of his losses have come by knockout or submission. In an expected slugfest, the more relentless Prado seems well-positioned to smash his fantasy-points total on Saturday night.
Leon Shahbazyan | More Than 0.5 Submissions

Leon Shahbazyan (12–5, 0–1 UFC) — older brother of middleweight contender Edmen Shahbazyan — is coming off a disastrous UFC debut, getting knocked out inside 30 seconds. That said, the prospect now gets a chance to show his most dangerous weapon in a favorable matchup with welterweight veteran Niko Price (16–11, 8–11 UFC).
Shahbazyan is a serious threat on the ground, with 11 of his 12 pro victories coming by submission. His exceptional grappling gives him a clear edge as he tries to play spoiler against Price, who enters his retirement fight on a four-fight skid — including two tap-out losses.
