Christian Watson has been the go-to guy for the Packers so far this season. Green Bay has been hunting for a true WR1 ever since Davante Adams left. There was always optimism that Watson could be that guy, but injuries kept him off the field too often. While it’s only been two games, he’s looking like he could be that WR1 for Jordan Love this season. He had an incredible Week 1, going for 147 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings. It was not as explosive of a day against the Jets in Week 2, but that game came on the road in rainy conditions. Despite those conditions, Watson still found the end zone on one of his four grabs. He also led five more targets than the next-most-targeted receiver. He should be the go-to guy for Love again in this game and has a great chance to score a touchdown for the third straight week.
Drake London More Than 66.5 Receiving Yards
Drake London will be happy to see Michael Penix Jr. back at quarterback. While Penix is by no means an elite NFL quarterback, he is a big step up from what the Falcons have had at quarterback the first two weeks of the season. Not only is Penix much more talented than Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, but he knows good things happen when you feed Drake London the ball.
Michael Penix Jr. has 12 career starts in the NFL. Drake London has had at least 100 recieving yards in seven of those 12 games. At the end of the 2024-25 season and the start of the 2025-26 season, Penix was getting the ball to London whenever possible. He is also not afraid to push the ball downfield and let London go for some 50/50 balls down the sideline.
Drake London should have his first big game of this season in Green Bay against a Packers defense that ranks 20th in defensive EPA/dropback despite facing Carson Wentz and Geno Smith so far this season.
