Below, I break down my favorite Jared Goff prop bet for Thursday’s matchup, focusing on his passing line against the Bills.

Goff only finished with 203 passing yards in the Lions’ Week 1 overtime win over the Saints, but he still completed 26 passes in the victory. Goff has been an accurate passer over the last two seasons, ranking 10th in completion percentage (67.9%) and averaging 23.3 completions per game.

He has completed 25+ passes in seven of his past 12 starts, peaking with 34 completions vs. the Steelers in Week 16 of last season. Tonight, Goff is facing a Bills’ defense that allowed C.J. Stroud to complete 26-of-38 passes in Week 1.

This matchup between the Lions and Bills boasts a massive 54.5-point total on DraftKings Sportsbook, which is the highest total the NFL has seen this season. Detroit is a 5.5-point road underdog.

The Lions should throw the ball at a high clip in this expected shootout. Goff topping 23.5 completions is likely as Detroit attempts to keep pace with Buffalo on its home field.
