Maresca’s trademarked fluidity has translated seamlessly to this group of players, and their strength was only bolstered over the last few days. The arrival of Enzo Fernández will give Maresca a new locked-in midfielder, as the Argentinian should pair perfectly with Elliot Anderson in hybrid 6/8 roles. Iliman Ndiaye will give City another dynamic 1-on-1 winger who could ultimately compete with Antoine Semenyo and Phil Foden for the starting RW spot when Jeremy Doku returns.
