Gaston Bolanos and Michael Aswell Jr. face off at tonight’s UFC Fight Night. Bolanos is 2-2 in his four UFC fights, while Aswell is 1-2 in the promotion. This fight is on the Prelims, which begin at 5:00 p.m. ET and air on Paramount+. Tonight’s event is being headlined by No. 2 Manel Kape vs. No. 5 Kyoji Horiguchi in a five-round flyweight contest.

Check out my best bet for Gaston Bolanos vs. Michael Aswell Jr. at tonight’s UFC Fight Night.

Fight to Go the Distance (-130)

Bolanos began his MMA career in Bellator, where he fought from 2017 to 2022. He left the promotion with a 6-3 record throughout nine fights. Although he has a ton of high-level experience, Bolanos has struggled to maintain consistency. Aswell is coming off a loss to elite prospect Luke Riley in March.

In this contest, Aswell is slightly taller (5’8″ vs. 5’7″), while both fighters have the same standing reach (69″). On DraftKings Sportsbook, Aswell is a -425 favorite with Bolanos being the underdog at +330 in this contest.

Since both fighters have been passive recently and are coming off losses, I’m taking this bout to go the distance at -130. Bolanos’ last two wins have come by decision, while four of Aswell’s previous five contests have ended via the judges’ scorecards.
