Since making his UFC debut in July 2023, Chairez has gone 3-2 with one no contest in the promotion. Chairez is coming off a split decision win against Felipe Bunes in February. Meanwhile, Silva lost by split decision against Charles Johnson less than two months ago. Silva’s last victory came against HyunSung Park in October 2025. From March 2021 to July 2024, Silva won four straight fights by knockout or submission. But since then, Silva hasn’t shown the same consistency as the competition has increased. Two of Silva’s previous three losses were to Joshua Van (UFC Flyweight Champion) and Manel Kape (No. 2 contender).
In this fight, Chairez has a massive six-inch reach advantage (71″ vs. 65″) while being three inches taller (5’7″ vs. 5’4″). On the feet, this matchup is close, as Silva has the edge in significant strikes per minute (3.95 vs. 3.65) and striking accuracy (51% vs. 45%).
Silva is a -118 favorite, with Chairez being the underdog at -102 on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight has an over/under of 2.5 rounds, with the over at -154. 12 of Chairez’s 13 career wins have come by finish, while Silva has 11 wins by knockout or submission. With that said, I’m taking this fight to not go the distance at -105. Seven of Silva’s previous eight fights have ended by finish, as he is always in an entertaining contest.
