Check out my best bet for Belal Muhammad vs. Gabriel Bonfim at this week’s UFC Fight Night.
Gabriel Bonfim Moneyline (-112)
From April 2019 to July 2024, Muhammad had an 11-fight unbeaten streak en route to becoming UFC Champion. But now Muhammad has gone nearly two years without a victory, as his last win was against Leon Edwards at UFC 304 in July 2024. Bonfim has won four straight bouts, with two of his last three coming by knockout or submission. Currently, Bonfim’s record stands at 19-1 with 17 finishes in his career.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Bonfim is -112 while Muhammad is -108 to win this fight. The over/under is set at 3.5 rounds, with the over at -188 and the under at +145.
Bonfim is the better all-around fighter in this matchup. On the feet, Bonfim averages more significant strikes per minute, has better striking accuracy, and has the advantage defensively. Also on the ground, where Muhammad has found success, Bonfim is better. Bonfim lands 1.26 more takedowns than Muhammad while being much more accurate (55% vs. 36%). Although Muhammad is the more accomplished fighter, he has lacked urgency and has been too passive in his recent contests. If Bonfim can move around the octagon while dictating the pace of this bout, he should be able to find a ton of success against Muhammad.
