Rockies vs. Diamondbacks game delayed due to inclement weather Sunday 5/17/26

UPDATE: The game is now scheduled to start at 4:55 p.m. ET.

The start of Sunday afternoon’s matchup between the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks has been delayed due to inclement weather.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 3:40 p.m. ET at Coors Stadium, but inclement weather in the area will prevent the contest from starting on time. The updated start time following the rain delay has not yet been announced.

When things get underway at Coors Field, RHP Michael Soroka (5-2, 3.53 ERA, 47 SO) starts for the Diamondbacks. He faces Rockies RHP Michael Lorenzen (2-5, 6.55 ERA, 31 SO). Activate Up to $15 Cash Back

Arizona is 21-23 on the year while Colorado is 18-28. The Rockies took game two of this series by a 4-2 margin Saturday, evening the three-game set after Arizona won the opener.
