Week 9 WR Rankings: 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings

Few positions in fantasy football can be as dominant as wide receiver, whether you play in a PPR league or standard scoring. While there are a few elite names to play every week, there are also many lineup decisions to be made at the position each week since most teams use several receivers in their rotation. Let’s look ahead to Week 9 and check out my top 30 WR Rankings after a brief look back at Week 8.

During Week 8 (not counting Monday’s games), sleeper receiver Troy Franklin (26.9 FPTS) had the highest point total at the position with Michael Pittman Jr. (23.5 FPTS), Rome Odunze (21.4 FPTS), and Ja’Marr Chase (21.1 FPTS) rounding out the top five. Only three other receivers had more than 20 fantasy points in a lower-scoring week overall for the position.

In Week 9, six teams return from their bye week, as the Seahawks, Cardinals, Lions, Jaguars, Raiders and Rams return to action. The Bucs, Jets, Browns, and Eagles will get Week 9 off, so those players are not in the WR rankings this week.
