With Week 5 of the NFL regular season just about in the books, there are already no more undefeated teams, and the Jets are the only remaining winless team in the league. With so much parity and some surprising results, it was another fun week across the NFL, with the Chiefs and Jags wrapping up the week on Monday night. As we start to look ahead to Week 6, two more teams are on a bye, but 30 teams in action give us plenty of options for Week 6. Let’s start the week with a rundown of the top 15 in my fantasy football QB rankings for this week.
Before we look at Week 6’s rankings, let’s take one more look backat Week 5. The top quarterback performance of the week coming into Monday Night Football came from C.J. Stroud (28.8 FPTS), who led his team to a huge road win and will now head to his bye week. Dak Prescott (28.3 FPTS) was near the top again, along with Sam Darnold (27.6 FPTS) and Baker Mayfield (26.7 FPTS), who battled it out in a high-scoring game in Seattle. Justin Fields (25.9 FPTS) and Matthew Stafford (25.6 FPTS) were the other two quarterbacks who topped 25 fantasy points in Week 5.
In other big QB news, Jayden Daniels (17.1 FPTS) made his triumphant return from injury, leading the Commanders past the Chargers. This week, Stroud and the Texans get the week off on a bye week, along with the Vikings, who won this week in London. This week’s London game features the Broncos taking on the 0-5 Jets.
In the season-long rankings, Josh Allen still has the most points of all QBs, followed by Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts, Dan Prescott and Matthew Stafford. Patrick Mahomes could climb into that group as well, depending on how he does on Monday.
