Throughout the beginning of NFL training camp, I’ve been grinding away at cementing us a solid foundation of data, film study, and vibes as folks start scheduling their fantasy drafts for August and September. This has, mostly, taken the form of positional rankings to this point. But every river has tributaries, of course. And so, below, you’ll find, below, a full top-150 rankings chart for PPR leagues, links to my positional rankings and in-depth player profiles for each player ranked, and a bevy of draft strategy pieces that amount to, already, a fairly comprehensive 2025 Fantasy Football Draft Kit/Cheat Sheet, for those of you in the market. You may be even more pleased to hear that this document is fluid, living—whatever digital housekeeping buzzword the jargon prefers these days. I’ll be updating this multiple times per day with new content, revised rankings, etc.
As some of you readers may know, I came to DraftKings Network by way of a rather eclectic journey of editorial posts—starting about ten years ago now in boutique literary publishing at The Paris Review to the more corporate editorial management of college-level literature textbooks. I’ve been bouncing around the publishing industry in posts both un- and official since the last season of Breaking Bad was airing live on AMC. So I leaned into that spirit as I cobbled together what amounts to about ~30,000 words (so far)—a brimming library of blurb-length content—on this year’s fantasy players.
As such, in good spirit and poignant nomenclature, I give you: my 2025 Fantasy Football Frontlist.
This is a living document (we’ll go with that one), as you’ll see in the subsections. I’ll update my rankings throughout the preseason and training camp. I’ll be publishing plenty of columns on draft strategy ahead of the third weekend in August—the biggest draft weekend of the year, baby!—to which I’ll link here. This is my war room, and I’ll be helming it diligently until the season officially locks. Expect constant updates and new content every day.

Each of the below positional ranks feature in-depth write-ups and profiles for each player ranked. As you’ll see, my ranks depart from the consensus quite a bit in terms of the players I value differently than the industry. I use FantasyPros ADP for all the below articles.
If you’re looking for longform analyses on individual players, with, you know, as much statistical and circumstantial justification for each ranking—or, really, just general introductions to these players if you’ve lapsed a bit or are a new manager—as one might expect from yours truly, I give you:
