Seven Swing States Odds as of November 2nd:

Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes):
Donald Trump -135 (was -150)
Kamala Harris +110 (was +120)
While Trump still leads in Pennsylvania, the gap has closed slightly. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as Pennsylvania is tied up in the most recent polls. Trump at -135 does imply a 57% chance of victory. I would expect these state to see a bit more movement as we get closer to the Tuesday election, so stay tuned for further updates.
If Trump were to win Pennsylvania, he would only need Georgia and North Carolina to lock up the victory. If Harris were to win here, she would still need at least three more states. A combination of Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and Wisconsin need to fall her way.

Arizona (11 electoral votes)
Donald Trump -285 (was -280)
Kamala Harris +220 (no change)
A very small movement here for Trump, who has a commanding lead. According to these odds, a -285 line for Trump implies a 74% chance of victory. The polls also have him leading, with the most recent run at +2.1% for Trump. At least from a betting market, it looks like he has this state wrapped up. A win in Arizona gives Trump 13 paths to victory and shrinks Harris down to 10. This would also eliminate the slight possibility of a tie.

Georgia (16 electoral votes)
Donald Trump -255 (was -250)
Kamala Harris +200 (no change)
Another slight bump for Trump but nothing significant. Recent polls have Trump leading by 1.5% while the betting market is at 72%. A win in Georgia would only require Pennsylvania and North Carolina to claim victory. That said, he’ll need to flip this state back to red after backing Joe Biden by a slight margin last election.
Michigan (15 electoral votes)
Kamala Harris -200 (was -125)
Donald Trump +160 (was +100)
This is the biggest swing since our last update.
Harris went to being a slight favorite to a resounding favorite in Michigan. While Trump has been able to close a once 3.4% gap, Harris currently leads in the polls by 1.1%. Taking Michigan would be huge for Harris, as it would require Trump to win Pennsylvania in seven of his eight remaining paths. A win in Michigan would also allow her to need just two more states in five of her 11 paths to victory. Four of them would require Pennsylvania, while one path would need Georgia and North Carolina. While it sounds easy for her, she would need to win states that are currently heavily favored for Trump. Nonetheless, this would be a huge victory for Harris.

Nevada (6 electoral votes)
Donald Trump -165 (was -200)
Kamala Harris +130 (was +160)
Another state that Trump saw his odds drop was in Nevada. Now, to be fair, at -165 implies a 62% chance of victory. Nevada has been deadlocked almost the entire time in the polls, with neither candidate taking a big lead. If we’re being totally honest, neither candidate really NEEDS Nevada. Would it be nice to have? Absolutely! But with six electoral votes, it’s not a dagger if either side loses out here. If Harris were to win here, she needs three more battleground states to win the Presidency. If Trump were to win it, he needs a minimum of three and sometimes four more battleground states. With Nevada expected to be one of the slower counting states, we may already know the outcome of the election before knowing how Nevada voted.
North Carolina (16 electoral votes)
Donald Trump -230 (was -280)
Kamala Harris +175 (was +220)
Trump came down a bit in North Carolina but has a sizable lead still. These numbers are back down to where they originally were when we first started updating these lines in late October. Oddly enough, Trump has gained in the polls since our last updated, going from 1% to 1.4%. North Carolina has been loyal to Trump in the two prior elections, so it would be a shock if they were to flip the third time around. A loss here for Trump would be very tough to overcome, as he would need four other battleground states to win. But, as the lines show, his probability currently sits at 70%.
Wisconsin (10 electoral votes)
Donald Trump -110 (was -135)
Kamala Harris -110 (was +110)
We are tied in Wisconsin. Harris has a slim 0.8% lead in the polls after being tied on October 30th. Wisconsin is vital to both candidates and could be a knockout punch if they can also take Pennsylvania. My guess is that Wisconsin will end up being just as important as Pennsylvania when all is said and done.
